Greetings and felicitations,
I am posting here under the impression that it is a place for mature Mormons to gather and discuss their faith in all its manifestations within the bounds of orthodoxy.
I am an ancient person of English origin now dwelling in the desert of Arizona with my eternal companion and our two well-beloved dogs.
My interests include, but are not confined to, writing, history, music, theology and wider religious studies, and provided that the forum lives up to my expectations and is rather more than simply a chat-room, I shall post and share on related issues.
I am available to answer questions provided that they do not delve where only intimates are encouraged to wander.
I tend to generate more than an average amount of typos, but if the spell checker works that should be helpful, although I do retain English orthography and grammar, and am not averse to writing as I speak, which is sometimes in the vernacular of Yorkshire.
Capn Moroni.
Welcome LDS Member
Thanks for posting your introduction message, this forum allows you to interact positively with many people on varying topics such as LDS Church news, Doctrine, the Book of Mormon, etc. However, do keep in mind that LDS Related Discussion is kept only in the LDS Related Boards as this is an International Community.
The next thing you should do now is update your profile. You can do this by clicking the link called, 'My Controls' in the top menu. You may wish to venture over to the LDS Deep Doctrine board or the News & RM Section and have a look around.
If you like RPGs then you may also be interested in playing: Nephi RPG where you can 'Journey to the Promised Land'

Nighthawk, I wondered if it was you. I hope you are doing well. It could be time for me to look in on Fo and the gang again, but his e-mail addy has changed and my e-mail - he was on my storyfolk list - in his direction has been bouncing these many months.
How is the beautiful English Rose? My Desert Rose is struggling to keep well, but she remains cheerful. We miss Montana more than words can tell, especially when the temp hits the 110 plus mark.
I am still experimenting with recipes and have some really good ones I am happy to share with whoever is ready for some good grub. I am now gathering all the ingredients for a traditional English Christmas Cake. I shall make it in about a week and let it mature until Christmas and then eat two slices at a time with a slice of best English cheddar between them. Oh, deepjoy!
Good to be among you folks. I am hoping to become more accomplished at finding my way through what seems like a rather complicated setup.
All the best,
Ronnie, sometimes, Arby, and sometimes Capn Moroni, but semper fi.
