Play By Post Role-playing Stereotypes

Do you think there is a stereotype or typical characteristics a person has in order to like role-playing via play by post? I mean do they tend to be geeky, like to read, game fanatic? What do you think?

Stereotypes Role-playing Post Play

Interesting question. Easiest way to see is to go to a few game groups and conventions to see if there is a pattern. I know the rest of the world probably thinks only geeky guys play games like Dungeons & Dragons .
