What;s up with Superman renouncing his U.S. Citizenship now? I can't believe they have him being so rebel that its becoming a political issue now!

I was surprised about Superman taking that turn because he always stood up for "Truth, Justice, and the American Way". Maybe the writers are disgruntled by the direction America is going and wanted to put their view into the Superman character.
