John B. Gurdon and Shinya Yamanaka win 2012 Nobel Prize for medicine, the awards committee announced Monday, for the discovery that mature cells can be reprogrammed to become pluripotent. The Nobel Assembly's announcement at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm is the first in a series of prizes that will be announced this week. Ref. CNN
