Since BBMing came to Triinidad & Tobago it has taken over the way people interact but there are some dowsides - the lack of actual face to face communication and even some students use it to BBM answers. What is your review for the local service?Trinidad Blackberry Service - BBM

Someone I know was telling me that Digicel is currently upgrading their network and because of that they sometimes lose the ability to send BBMs, this made them angry. I wrote back the following:

I do not see how BBMing can be addicting. Isn't it just instant chat on the move? If anything it would be highly distracting but since I do not like instant chat on my PC I guess I already have a biased view. With that said seeing employees using it when you are expecting customer service is even more aggravating. Of course only in Trinidad you will see something like that.

I never like the blackberry, the thing that I REALLY dislike about it is the BBMing part, it can be so distracting and that can put other children behind. I have seen children having a blackberry and the constant BBMing part and that drives me nuts! I don't even have a blackberry and I already know that.
