I will have to look it up but one of the best Currie blenders in in Scarborough Ontario Canada. It is a East Indian gent that founded it. The blend curry for many brand names and export all over the world. I very often add turmeric or chili more all spice to a boughten curry depending on the dish I am making.
I like the more yellow coloured curried(higher turmeric content).
I find the best way to to let the curry cook for 30 minutes as a sauce then adjust slightly and try again. Or fry the curry before using if cooking Indian style.
I have tried many different brands of curry in Trinidad and I believe that the best brand is "Chatak Hot and Spicy Madras Curry." This is how I usually make my curry:
1) First pour about 2 pot spoons of cooking oil.
2) Slice a garlic clove in half (removing the skin of course).
3) Ensure that the oil is very hot and then add the garlic clove.
4) Allow the garlic clove to burn and then remove it from the pot.
5) Add the Chatak Hot and Spicy Madras curry to the oil, stir gently and allow to simmer for 30 seconds (lower your burner)
6) Add your chicken or beef to the pot and stir gently.
An East Indian guy gave me this recipe and I use it all the time!

Comments: The best curry in Trinidad is not the curry powders made by commercial curry blenders. the best curry powder I ever purchased was from a little lady called Indra who lives at Chase Village Chaguanas, she still handcrafts and grinds her curry at home. sadly she does not sell it in supermarkets and you have to buy it from her at her home.the taste is superb...there are still a handful of home curry blenders.

Comments: The best curry in the world is Surya Roasted Curry Powder HOT, followed by Bolst's Hot curry powder, and then the little known but delicious M-Budget curry.
