The Power Of Love

In case you did not notice, when a person is in love in the Matrix it shows from their heart. How do I know that? Every time someone says to Neo or Trinity that they are in love they always first look at their heart. The best example of this is the Indian man in the Train Station. He looks at Neo's heart and then tells him that he can see he is in love.

It could be that the purpose of this 'exercise' of the Matrix is to see the purpose and extent of love. For the programs love was just a word, but as the Indian man rightly said - it represents a connection. Maybe the Architect wants to see how far this human quality can go?

Love Power The

I think the Architect discovered that love was strong enough to influence Neo to alter his previous choices and choose to liberate the humans. Even though the Architect does not understand this concept of love, the Oracle probably suggested that he program Neo to be able to love, because she was well aware that love would help him make the decision that he did.
