Message: To Whom It May Concern: I am a high school teacher from San Diego planning a service learning / exploratory trip to Trinidad and Tobago over the first 2 weeks of January. I am interested in learning about some volunteer opportunities that would be appropriate for high school level students (between the ages of 15 and 17). Myself and another teacher chaperone are planning on bringing 18 students to the area and would love to get involved with your organization in some way while we are in town. We are able to commit 20 - 25 hours of our time to volunteer.
Our students are interested in hands on projects such as painting (murals, interior or exterior), building and gardening. Please let me know of any opportunities or events that we may be able to help out with. We tentatively plan on being in town from the 7th of January through the 13th.
