A realy great game but if you read anywhere about an AMD 2.0 can run it then forget it. Go with nothing less than a dual core with at least 3GHz if you want good game play.

I find that most systems running AMD can only benefit by maximum CPU usage, even overclocking at best because if you try to go with the minimum system requirements you'll get frustrated.

I remember playing the original Sins of A Solar Empire. I liked the setting and environment but found it hard to keep up with the pace of a real-time strategy game. I prefer turn-based games. Maybe I'll come back to it, since it's been years since I last tried the game.
