Its not a personal attack, a hyperbole is what it is, you were trying to make me look silly by sarcastically saying,
I should not get involved in this discussion but I think it might help since I'm, probably, the one that knows better each of you, even if in a very limited way. As I got it from reading the posts, Lukego's intent was not that of making you look silly, Krusten. He thought you misunderstood what happened to the dog, which if true is something that can happen to anybody (specially with my poor english (laugh)), and wanted to point it out. I know you are always on the defensive, that's your character, nothing wrong about it. But I bet that if you try to give the guys a little bit of trust, like you did with me after the initial suspicion, they will prove themselves to be worthy companions. If not, I'll kill their character (laugh). Just joking.
Thank you for clarifying, Bruconero. You seem to have understood me well. This has been another great example of how tone does not carry well over the internet. My intended sincerity was taken as sarcasm and Krusten, your intended hyperbole was taken as a personal attack. I think we have things cleared up, now, and hopefully we can all grow together in understanding each others' unique writing styles.
ICon, the dog in front of you has been killed by Anntreen two rounds ago, seconds after biting your wrist. Foxrogue, you are not in a threated position so you can move and attack if you wish. Lukego, thank you for adding the clarification about the base attack bonus about drawing a weapon. I realized I forgot to mention that just after posting but it was late, my connection was lagging and I just chose the lazy way leaving it like that.
No problem, mate. If you miss, it means you roll your dice. A question: you didn't know that the dog was dead because you overlooked it or because my description was not clear? Is important for me to know. I'm a table [DM] and sometimes I'm not sure on how to adapt things to a play by post environment (I never used [hexes] but I'm struggling without miniatures). Moreover [English] is not my language so, what looks clear to me, may sound like meaningless blabbering for you guys.
Bruconero, do you have the space at home to set up the miniatures for each fight? If not, perhaps using MapTool may prove useful to help you visualize the combat. With the combat laid out in front of you, maybe you could post a matrix of combatants and distances at the start of each round. I can't find the tags for a table on my options above, so I will attempt an example below (it's not perfect, but I hope you understand the intent):
