My apologies to the rest of the party for putting them in stand-by in this phase. For the story to be realistic, things like this must happen. That's why I created this Thread. It's purpose is to allow "Out of character" communication between the party members so that anybody can participate at any time. In this particular situation, you can suggest questions or answers. Or express your opinion. An example: 50 gold pieces is not a sufficient reward for you? Ask your spokesman to bargain! Not being present or not being the spokesman doesn't mean you must stay passive and accept whatever the active player may say or decide. Just to explain the real function of the Players Hub.

I just made a rogue and he was approved today. I am more than willing to enter your party. Work with me here as this is my first time doing play by post. My character will be introduced shortly I believe. He is not the kind you want to be the leader, but he is dependable. I have avoided reading the adventure [because] I do not know how much back story my character has. Let me know if I should read all of it or wait till I join you.

You may want to change your avatar, since you chose the same one used for Faruq (laugh). You can join the game: you are traveling along the Southern Road (east to west if you come from Sor), when eventually you come by an inn. Tired, you decide to spend some time inside. The main room is empty, save for one table where a fat man is drinking and examining some parchments.
As for reading the story, that's definetely your choice. Even if you decide to read everything since the beginning, you will have to pretend not to know many of the informations since you were not present. At least, until the rest of the party will tell you what's going on.
By the way, your coin pouch contains 5 silver coins and 5 copper coins.

I tried no dice. It worked earlier for me because I edited two post. But once I posted another time it is no longer a option to edit the post above.

Just for the record been reading the sites and games. Looks like a [awesome] site. I am already in two games. And after I go awhile I may see about joining one of [JB's] games. Really interesting game worlds.

Today is the 7th of January, end of the festivities for most of us. As announced a couple of weeks ago, I suspended the rules about posting frequency during this period. Those rules are now in effect again.
As a reminder:
-After 2 days since the last update, I will move the game even if I don't have all the actions (moving the game means bringing the story forward, replies to questions or role-playing don't count).
-If a player, without saying anything before, doesn't post for more than 2 days (date of the last post counts), I will apply an in-game penalty.
-If a player doesn't post for one week, he is out of the game.
Because of these rules, I ask you please to let me know in advance if you will not be able to post for some time. If no communication is made, I will apply the penalties.

The party leader is still an unresolved issue. ICon proposed himself as party spokesman but not as leader. FoxRogue declared, some time ago, that he would cover that position if nobody else was interested in it but he is not posting in this game recently so I don't know if that offer still stands up.
We can still choose to go on without a Party Leader if you guys feel so but, if we will ever feel the need to speed up things, I will bring the subject again.

I know that Luke is right now moving his family in to there new house this weekend he posted something [about] it out of game, I just don't recall what one of your threads it was on. He said he would be busy [through] the [whole] weekend. If I could find it there would be a quote box here. Admittedly I gave up looking for it really quickly, as I am sick tonight with food poisoning and not feeling all the well for it.
