Sgtlee, I can give you the informations you collected until now. But will not be the full picture since, as I said, that will require several hours. But maybe the info you had in this first hour of investigation could help you question the commoner sitting on the barrel. I'll update the situation in the game.
Bruconero, which would searching for tracks be under, Spot or Survival? I can see reasons for both, I'm just not sure. That's why I didn't make any rolls yet for my last post.
Also, are you liking that I'm trying to guess what I'd need to roll for?
Steff, I think Bruconero's been making all those kinds of rolls for us. His policy has been that we should only roll for Initiative, Attack, and Damage unless otherwise asked for a roll.
Krusten, I thought you stayed back so you could make the meeting that you set up. Jon and Ja'lron are also back in town as the rest of us have gone to check out the attack site. We all split up again (in 4 groups, this time), which can make things a bit difficult for Bruconero to update everyone at once.
Krusten: Bruconero put that in his because Jon had stated that he'd wait to see if your character met up with the rest of us. I think it has been kept open so you could decide whether you went or not.
Krusten: Bunny is right, I put that because from your post I didn't understand if you were leaving or staying so I left both options open. Now you are at the ranch but I don't know what you are doing unless you tell me first, that's why I didn't update you. Is still too early for your meeting: now is early afternoon and you guess the worker will not end up her shift before dusk. I have to keep you guys all on the same timeline because otherwise will become difficult updating the game and managing the events.
Stefflabunny: Luke is right, that's the way I manage rolls. Anyway, checking tracks falls under the Survival skill. But, unless you are a Ranger or have the Tracks feature, survival allows you to follow tracks that have a maximum DC of 10. Is therefore very unlikely that you guys can succeed in understanding where they lead, probably only the very easy ones. Spot is seldom used to "Find" things, as I see you use it also in another game: that's the Search skill. Spot is mainly used to determine at which distance between the parties an encounter starts and to detect creatures that are trying to hide. Spot is used to avoid being surprised by the enemies and start combat flatfooted.
