Ah silly me, I thought Brucerono wrote his last line in a menacing tone. I even stopped and thought for a while about who they were. Doesn't matter, Tomas has been drilled to react the same way every time.
I wanted to be ironic but is true that it could sound menacing: not easy to give the right tone when writing, specially if only a couple of lines. When I first read iCon's post I was confused. Then I realized the misunderstanding and I started to laugh imagining the scene in a movie-like fashion. Close up on the two meager mules and the bunch of depressed farmers. The view opens as the camera zooms out and we can see the paladin reacting like that and preparing himself to face the devil itself. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm silly...
So, guys, let's do like this: I will control Jon until FoxRogue comes back (if he does). But I will only do things requested by other party members, never taking any initiative. I'll not touch his equipment either, unless really necessary. If new players want to join I will free his slot in the party though.
Waiting for actions from Sgtlee (who stated he wanted to search certain locations, but he has no idea where they are) and Krusten. Then I'll move the game (the others will attend the funeral, right?).
Anntreen follows the others she puts on a fake face of calmness, but the smile and joy of it is gone. Her eyes show the sadness of her [heart], as she wonders if there is anything that can stop people so evil as whom has brought forth all this grief. She attends the funeral but remains quite and in the background she would not know what to do to help her skills are that of healing, not hunting men that have made themselves monsters.
So after a weekend with my best friend/computer guy, we've come to the conclusion that my desktop of 10+ years is thoroughly dead and gone...but not forgotten.(Yes, I cried) My dad has told me he will buy me a new computer albeit a laptop(which is fine). So, I'll still be low at checking the game(at least once a day) until I find a laptop for me and I get with my dad for the purchase.
Ok, now we are down two. Tonatha quit all three games he was in because he suddenly realized he will have a hard semester at school. Just think he was planning to start a game in this board....
Anyway, I think I will not open any slots for potential new players. This situation gives me the chance to bring the party cap back to the number I planned in the beginning. I'm old fashioned and I still think that the perfect party is the one with 6 members. Mostly, that's the number of players I was used to have when Dungeon Mastering and it will be easy for me to balance the encounters.
