Anntreen will always be in the center of the group when marching. She is a healer this is where I march when I play my healer at a LARP and its because you don't want your low to no armor, low HP, only way of getting someone back up near the enemy if it can be helped. And since ambushes, sneak attacks, and front line skirmishes cover all the sides, healers tend to be kept in the center of a group it makes everyone safer.
Also, in the rules of Dunged and Dragons spell caters require a good amount of rest at night. Its harder for spell casters to get this rest if they are asked to take watch in the middle of the night, this is why they tend to take the fist or last shift, sometimes both.
I like having the paladin as the party leader, paladin's skill sets are basically set up for it.
So Icon who is playing Tomas, if you are willing, I would nominate him as party leader.

Good question. Ja'laron while a rogue tends to try and pass himself off as a fighter. No ones wants to grow up and be a rogue. But he stilll tends to fight as a skirmisher. In the background or sides during combat. He will take middle of the night shifts, because he knows if he is in a party and has to sneak through someones items they will be most asleep.
A couple of ideas:
For the role of Party Leader I would suggest iCon or sgtlee.
ICon sometimes can't post everyday, but the Party Leader should take final decisions only when the party is stuck. The 2 days time limit is intended for idle situations: if the party is defining a strategy in an active way, is like if the game is moving. But if, for example, the same things are stated over and over without finding an agreement the intervention of the Party Leader will be needed.
I'm mentioning his name because he is a veteran. He is a member of this community since long time and he joined in several games on this board. The party would be able to count on his experience and be reasonably sure that they will not lose their leader all of a sudden like it could happen electing a new member. Moreover he plays a paladin.
Sgtlee is a good choice also because of his character, a rogue, useful both in party talks and in situations that require subtleness. He would also be a very good tactician, much much better than your Dungeon Master, and that would give you guys an advantage. He is a premium member so, even if he is new, the chances that he could quit all of a sudden are small.
For the marching order: I would suggest Ja'laron in front for the dungeons. Traps, traps, traps....
I'm in the same boat with Ferrin: he's not going to rush headlong into the dogs, but he'll back up Faruq as best he can. They became friends over a shared meal and that's very important to Ferrin (smile)
Agree first in dungeons for Ja'laron. He will play the scout role for Ja'laron. In situations like the one we have now where we can see the enemy and we are the attacker he stays back and uses ranged attack, outside of Melee range.
I am flexiable on the party leader. Because we are active enough and agree with the general course of action from reading the previous post that a party leader for this group would be minimal impact. But ICon seems the better front man with the Paladin.
Just wanted to add that I will put my vote behind sgtlee, no offense iCon but like you said you might not be here up to three days. That and the fact Krusten isn't into 'holy' men.
