I read your latest update in the game so I guess Krusten wasn't close enough to get in a shot without a penalty yet?

Hub Players Dragons and Dungeons Bruconeros

I didn't post any sketch of the "Battlefield" because both groups are still running and the positions are not clear yet. Next round some of the players will get into melee but they will have to move first (except Faruq) so each enemy is a suitable target. Running is a full round action, that's why I counted only the ranged attacks for round 1 and 2. Why somebody looks faster than others? Running allows a character to move 4 times his movement in a single round. Faruq has Enhanced movement so covers 160 feet per round (40x4). Some of you are encumbered and so are able to cover only 80 feet per round (Krusten, Anntreen). Ferrin is encumbered and small: his voice fades away in the distance (laugh)

Both groups are compact and launched in a frontal assault. Five dogs are in the front line, the one already in melee range for Faruq and Tomas (if he moves first). A dog is behind them on the left and one on the right (will be in melee on round 4). Other three are further behind (will not be able to engage the party in melee before round 5). Hope this helps, as a general picture. I will post an image after round 3 (the next one), when the positions will be more clear.

For the party leader: sgtlee didn't give his availability for the role so I guess iCon is the party leader now. After the combat, I will post a short list of his "Duties".

The marching orders are not clear yet. This are two examples based on your indications, please correct any mistake and fill up any missing position.
Open: Tomas+Krusten in front, Mina+Ja'laron in the middle, Anntreen+Ferrin in the back.
One-man-row: Ja'laron, Tomas (Krusten?), Mina, Anntreen, Ferrin, Krusten (Tomas?)
Camp: 1:Anntreen 2:? 3:Ja'laron 4:? 5:? 6:Mina

Just wanted to clarify that I did have Ferrin shrug the pack off his shoulders prior to running after Faruq. Since he's already small, he didn't need the extra encumbrance to slow him down.

Sorry, Luke. You are right. I read back the posts and you clearly stated that. Thank you for pointing it out. So Ferrin moves at the same speed as Krusten and Anntreen. You 3 are still back with Ja'laron (who lost a round firing the bow) but sgtlee and Krusten can now move and shoot from within 60 feet. On round 4, Ferrin will be at the right range for his spell and Anntreen will be able to attack in melee if she takes a Move Action first.

Any possibility of getting a map with colored markers for each of us on it along with a bunch of brown ones for the dogs.
The thing that is been keeping me from posting is a lack of understanding for just how far away we are form them, and where everyone is.

I'll post a sketch at the end of this round, when I'll know (or decide by myself) where each of you is exactly. By now, is not so important because the groups were still running and the positions could change several times. I assumed the archers shot the closest dog. They are in a tight formation and all at full health so one or the other doesn't make much difference.

Let me know if you need any help making a easy to read map. I have been playing around with hand building maps in paint. But, I also have been taking time to look into some map making free [software].

Thank you Kit. I saw you make really nice maps for your game. In this situation, a simple sketch will be enough I think. But I may need your help in the future for more complex encounters or locations.
