Some times its hard.
I know from my own game when there is bunch of active people and then one or 2 slow posters. That is why when I did combat I gave rounds 24 hours limit, because I did not want combat to take a week for only 3 or 4 rounds.
I wanted 1 round = 1 day. You don't post = you hold your action or forfeit your turn.
You know how held actions work right?
Yes, but the game has a 2 days pace and I want to make it a standard for every situation. For combat is too long but in other cases can be too short. If I keep changing the limit, adapting it to each situation, will only create confusion (and complaints).
This way everybody knows that, connecting every two days, they will be able to keep up with the game and not risk any penalty. But now I will be very strict with the rules about participation and the penalties for late posters. I don't want discourage the active players.
Everyone I am sorry for taking so long with my replys lately. There was a recent death in my family and I was close to the person. Again I am sorry if I am solely responsible for holding up the game. Please note that my posts might not contribute as much as they might normally. Again my deepest apologies.
Sorry to hear these bad news, Carmana. Me, and I'm sure all the other players as well, are close to you in this difficult moment. For the game, you are inside the 2 days deadline so no problem at all. The game is not late, just following its set pace.
If you think you will have problems in the next days, you can submit some d20 rolls that I can use for you and I can use your character if you are late without giving any penalty until you tell me everything is back to normal. Up to you.
