Well, you have the post saying the same in the 'In Game' area about an hour ago. In this thread your last post was 3 days ago, page 47 according to what I can see.

Stefflabunny: I guess your last post was not addressed to me. Looks like some posts [have] been removed from the Thread: I got an e-mail notification stating there were 4 new posts here but I can only see yours. Something important going on?

I saw in Carmanas' intro a message about posting the same thing too many times, probably it was removed.

How does intimidation work with other players? Can I intimidate another character or does a player have full control on whether they're intimidated or not?

Here's what the [..] has to say about Intimidate ([Charisma]):

international QUOTE
Your Intimidate check is opposed by the target's modified level check (1d20 + character level or Hit Dice + target's Wisdom bonus [if any] + target's modifiers on saves against fear).

That's not really what I'm asking. I want to know Bruconero's take on using it on other characters in the party not the NPCs and if they have to feel intimidated should they fail their check.

I would personally rule it that it has to have a basis or substance, and the player would get bonuses or penalties depending on how important the specific orders or belief is to them. Just throwing out some ideas to Brucerono.

Funny you should show up to answer this iCon, I was now thinking of getting your holy man to do some unholy things with a bit of intimidation, I wonder if he will buy into it. laugh.gif

You can make a Charisma check opposed to a Charisma check made by the Player you want to convince to do something. The more the action you are trying to impose goes against the player's character philosophy (alignment) or beliefs, the higher the bonus he will get on his roll.

Technically, you could try to use the Intimidate skill as well but that would bring almost certainly to a fight. Intimidating a character, or an NPC, is an act of violence not too different from pointing a sword at his chest.

This said, nothing is forbidden. Just bear in mind the possible consequences.
