Thank you Bruconero. I appreciate your help. If you could when you're feeling better let me know important information my character would know or not know. Like would I have met a halfling before? If I know little about the world I don't want to assume I know or don't know something. Get feeling better. Thank you again.
Affection: Your character can do whatever you want. It's you deciding what he will do. Yes, the game is slower. It happens. Now is normal because the party is split in two, there are changes in its composition and, most of all, it was big holiday in the US: 4th of July!
Usually the game accelerates when on a mission and slows down when in the village.
Canabusis: Mainly, what your character knows or not is up to you except story-linked vital information. Depends on you: you can role-play MaryJaen like she never saw an Halfling before, for some fun, or pretend she knows them already.
Saying that she knows little about the world, I meant she is not so used to the ways of Men (Intended as Humanity, not males). She knows the world history, some basic geography but elves focus mainly on natural lore, tradition, arts and magic for their education. She might not know who are the rulers in the various human kingdoms or might not have heard about the small realms but, for instance, she will know what is the Empire or about what's going on in LastKeep and so on. If you have specific questions, just ask.
Krusten: you must choose a party member to refer your conversation to. You can choose between Tomas, Ferrin or Carnosus.
Thank you for your insight and information. I think that it will be fun for MariJaen to assume Ferrin is a child and plan on playing it out that way. That's mainly why I asked. Thank you once again.
Krusten: is to avoid that nobody, or all of them, use that information. Having a single character knowing something is better otherwise they will think "Is not me" And is just like you didn't say anything to anybody. Like when Anntreen left Captain Tomlin in some party member's custody without specifying who and then nobody said they would look on him.
