Jeaal laughs merrily, he searches the area, looking for tracks, and checking the sky. He carries his bow with an arrow nocked and ready to loose.
Seeing no options and getting no suggestions from Anntreen or Jeaal, he kneels down and reaches for the nearest root as he lowers himself over the edge and begins his descent.

"No!" Tomas shouts. "He should've been put to trial! It's not your place to pass this judgement!" He makes a face of contempt at Kursten.
He doesn't have the will to raise his shield to the oncoming threat, and just looks out, into the forest, kneeling behind the last corpse he bound.
In Character:: "Tomas, knowing what I do of the guilds, he was guilty. People who live that life have their own laws. What Krusten did was within those laws. Now pull yourself together our survival will save the lives of other innocent people" Ja'laron looks out towards the noise, "We could really use our friends right now, where the hell are they." Turning towards the wounded men that stayed, "how many men will be coming?"

"So, Krusten the guild's enforcer, are we now?" he says, just loud enough for both to hear.
But Ja'laron's words affect him and he gets up. He moves to a position where he can cast detect evil on the whole camp, and does so (only 1 round).
Krusten looks at the holy man, "What did you want me to do... Say some prayers with him?"
She then grumbles how silly these religious fanatics can be as she puts a foot on Albert's face (assuming Krusten did what she was supposed to).
AT THE DITCH
Ferrin decides to try to use the roots to climb down the wall of dirt. He carefully descends, moving slowly. When he is almost halfway from the bottom, he loses his grip and starts sliding down but he is either nimble or lucky and manages to grab a long root and land on the soil with only a few scratches. Thinking that the worse part is already done, the halfling examines the opposite wall: climbing up looks easier and, in fact, Ferrin gets up to the other side without big problems (I rolled for you to speed things up, hope you don't mind).
Jeaal sees several hoofprints all around the area going in different directions. The ranger has no doubts about what produced them: they have been clearly left by wild boars. A quick exam of the surroundings reveals also where Anntreen's rope ended up: Jeaal can see it hanging from a tall tree, the bedroll still attached to one of it's edges.
AT THE CAMP
Krusten easily slays the helpless thug, causing Tomas to protest openly. The wounded worker looks terrified. "We have to go away from here, this is not a joke", he says with a broken voice. "They are soldiers. How many? Who knows! But you can bet it wil be a whole group and that they will not be in the mood to ask questions". The man is starting to shake and the tone of his voice is getting higher as he begins to panic.
Tomas concentrates on the small camp, trying to sense any evil aura left in it. He gets a faint response from where the body of Albert lies but it fades away almost immediately.
In Character: Krusten looks at the others to see if they are interested in running or standing ground. Before making her own decision she first wants to see what kind of army is coming. She as usual climbs a tree to have a look.
