In Character: Once the men pass, Ferrin reaches into his cloak and lets Alaric climb out onto his hand. He whispers, "Follow them. Be safe." And gently lowers the ferret to the ground. If Alaric feels threatened, he should be able to climb up and out of the way of any dangers.
Out of Character: I think we're pretty much in consensus that the main group will take care of the dead and then be led back toward the camp while the three pointy-eared folk try to follow quietly from a distance, probably needing Jeaal's tracking ability later on since their group will be moving much faster than us trying to be quiet.

Mina looks at Thomas incredulously. She then repeats in a whisper, "No, our plan was to go see where these men came from and what is to be expected from there. If you are wanting to take one of these people back, I do not see any of them men going back to Goatshearers with anyone but a human."
Mina looks over the dead man, then asks, "You sure this one deserves a burial with the way he treated his own men?"
