In Character: Krusten surrenders to no one, she rather die than have anyone take away her freedom. This time it is for blood and she will shout this out to the captain if it comes to it.
Out of Character: My last action against the guards should have an effect on them not so? Either morale or being hesitant to fight as well against Krusten?
Out of Character: Well, Krusten can't know that until she sees it by herself but, considering she is facing soldiers and not brigands the effect should not be so big. These people are, or were, part of the army and served in LastKeep where fighting is not just a mere possibility but an everyday reality.
Every muscle in her body tenses up her hands rips even tighter on her staff. She takes in a deep breath and holds it for a moment. Her eyes dash over to her comrades.
Anntreen would be lying if she said she was not scared but she is ready yet, there is now action not yet from the healer hidden in the brush.
Ferrin's ears perk up at the shouted word. Everything seems still for a moment and he feels the world slow to a halt. He gets to his feet, prepared to act (pending actual combat, of course).
Initiative: 1d20+4 = 7+4 = 11...not great, but it will do.
"For our souls' sakes, I hope you're right about these men Ja'laron." Tomas jumps up only able to strap on his shield and draw his sword.
Initiative: 1 +1 =2
Out of Character: Oh gosh, not only am I completely unprepared, I'm completely unaware.
Anntreen offers a silent prayer to the wold her lips moving with the words yet giving no sound. "Please [great] goddess offer my friends the protection of your grace, and show me the path to there side."
Initiative if needed = 14
Carnosus will draw his sword but not strike unless someone move to harm him first. "Does it really have to be like this? I don't want to hurt anyone, but if I have to then you will be shown no mercy." As he says this his red blade glints in the light.
Out of Character:: for the blade glint just imagine an anime scene basically. Now for my rolls, Initiative: 18. Attack: (for if he has to strike) 20
