Tomas picks up the captain, helping him to his feet and marches him through the tear to the front of the tent. "Duly noted, I hope your judge looks favourably on you thanks to your cooperation."
Reassured by Anntreen that the party are not dead, he asks, "Did you check Ja'laron's wound?"
Upon reaching the front, he stops and displays his prize.
"Thank all the gods! The goods are all intact and the perpetrator will face trial."
Jeaal sits on the ground with a groan.
"Hey, could somebody pull this arrow out of my leg? I don't think I'm up to it."
Ferrin keeps an eye on the group of thugs grouped off to the side, hands still raised to keep them in line. "There are somes injureds over heres, too," He calls over his shoulder to the rest of the group.
"Alright, I can help. Keep an eye on the captain."
Tomas moves and administers first aid to Jeaal.
"I think Anntreen is better at this, what with channelling the will of her god."
Captain Tomlin watches in silence while Tomas helps Jeaal with the arrow that hit the ranger's leg. Is a home-made arrow and its constructor was definitely not a skilled one: the head is not barbed, is not even a head, and is very easy to extract it without doing further damage.
The commoners stay in line, hands up, looking at Ferrin with worried eyes. The wounded thug sits next to his unconscious companion. After some time, he finds the voice for asking: "I beg you good Sir, could you help me as well?".
All around is silence. The thugs' camp, beyond the trench, is now deserted. Everybody fled after that defeat appeared certain.
Krusten gets back into the big military tent with a clear purpose in her mind. Curiously watched by Mina, that is fastening the last knot around one of the guard's wrists, she starts scavenging anything she can find on the bodies. The guards have nothing of value on them, apart from their weapons and armors. Krusten can collect 5 Short Swords, a Short Bow, a Quiver containing 20 Arrows and 4 Padded Armors. The clothes they have on look quite ordinary but she could maybe sell their boots and their leather belts.
After making a pool of the soldiers' possessions, Krusten checks the body of Berghost. This time her search gives better results. The veteran wears good quality clothes and a brand new Leather Armor (+2AC, Max Dexterity Bonus +6, Armor Check Penalty 0, 15lb). Next to him is a Battleaxe and a Dagger is hidden in one of his boots. In his pockets, is a Flint&Steel. A small coin pouch hangs from his belt: Krusten explores its content and finds 2 gold, 8 silver and 4 copper pieces.
In Character: Krusten secures all these items to one side and thinks over what to do with them while occasionally looking to see if the healers are doing their job adequately. She has no second guesses about what she wants and what she will leave for the others.
Out of Character: Will the leather armor automatically fit me or will adjustments have to be made? What about the brass symbol he took, was that taken back?
Out of Character: The armor will automatically fit, as long as the size of the creature wearing it is the same as yours (you adjust it to your body by tightening or loosing the side strings that keep it together). You didn't find the brass symbol on him: probably fell and is somewhere on the ground.
In Character: Krusten decides what she wants after some consideration:
* She takes off her padded armor dropping it to the floor for whomever wants it.
* She then puts on the leather armor (Now AC 16)
* She takes the dagger and enough arrows to make her compliment 24, she leaves the rest (the remainder should be 13 arrows)
* She pockets all the coin for herself
* She finds some leather boots that fits her and puts them on (Does this increase my AC any?)
After this she looks for the brass symbol on the ground and pockets it. When she has done this she will then go around the tent seeing how the others are while still checking outside for movement.
