Anntreen fetches her bag from the brush, returning to camp she says payers for the dead as they are covered with dirt in the new holes. The mas grave is marked with a stick she gathered while recovering her bag.

Anntreen walks a round to each in the group and say "We need to move out if we want to make town fall. I suggest having the captives help pull the carts to return the goods to the rightful owner."

Anntreen then begins packing all items she can in to the empty cart. It is clear the cleric has no intention of resting in this camp for the night if there's any sliver of hope to make it back to town tonight.

Jeaal moves to help the party get the loot into the back of the cart.

"Does anyone know any healers in town?"

Carnosus helped load stuff into the cart, he still had what he took though, he was muttering to himself, trying to think of ways to use the stuff to help the group, he wondered why he wanted to prove his words to Tomas to be true, why he wanted to prove himself to this group so much, he looked at each group member. Jeaal, was a fellow ranger, so Carnosus felt something like a mutual trust in him, Tomas was acting like the leader of the group, and even though Carnosus had been annoyed with him before, he couldn't help but respect him for his strong morals, Ferrin was an odd one, but he was clearly a good person, Carnosus remembered the way Ferrin came up and shook his hand when they first met, Ja'laron was a trusting guy from what Carnosus could tell, he had trusted Carnosus' word that Jeaal meant no harm and that was the first time they had ever met, Mina was nice too, she had only spoken with Carnosus a little, but she had done so kindly and with respect, Krusten was another story, to be honest she kind of scared him, she was ruthless from what he had seen and she was a little greedy too, but he trusted her if his life ever came down to her actions, then there was Anntreen, Carnosus had entrusted to her some of his darkest secrets from his past, and she had so far never failed to comfort him when he was angry or sad, he trusted her with his life and he owed her his own, he felt a special bond with her, he smiled and thought of the clan that took him in years ago, he missed them but having Anntreen around lessened the sadness, he absentmindedly touched the cheek she had kissed him on, he caught himself staring at her and quickly looked away blushing slightly. 'Get a hold of yourself Carnosus. She would never like you like that, besides, you always mess up around the cute ones, and she takes top prize there...idiot.' He sighed and blushed more with a hand on his forehead. He then mumbled, still blushing; "Why does my heart always do this kind of thing to me?" He mumbled it to himself hoping no one else would hear

Out of Character:: just a good look into his thoughts at this moment, oh and Kit, just wanted you to know that YES he does have a crush on Anntreen. *smile* just thought I would add that for a little fun you know? #character development for the win!

Tomas prays with Anntreen and then agrees with her about moving out, however he thinks it would be easier to stay the night. When he sees her concern about staying he says, "Look, it was entirely their fault. You can't blame yourself for anything, everyone should come to terms with only their own actions. You did the best job of patching everyone up afterward!" But he concedes with moving out now.

He goes up to Kursten who is being loud an waving the patch around. "I think you are mistaken. That symbol of Soria means that it's military, not religious. Looks like Ja'laron was right about them deserting from the Neck. Let me take it as evidence. Nice new armor, I assume it counts as your share of the profits. Also I see you've upgraded your spear to be less lethal." He smirks at the quip.

He hears Ferrin and hands him the newly found ropes from the makeshift tent.

Heading outside, he attempts to convince any commoners still around to help pull down the tents and pack the carts for 5 copper, and to accompany the party to the ranch and drag the carts for a silver.

Out of Character: The only commoners still around are the thugs that drew daggers on us outside. They would likely jump at the chance to earn coin, but they are also being taken back to the farm to be tried for theft and accomplice to murder. Not sure which of those motivators would win out for them.

In Character: Once everyone is tied up (including unconscious folks), Ferrin goes to Jeaal, "Why don'ts youse rests and watch the captives. We's cans do the works. Just shouts if they's tries anythings." He puts a small, gentle hand on Jeaal's arm to reassure him and then moves to help tear down the camp, load the wagons with supplies and the injured personnel, and get things ready to go.

"We's may haves to's travels in the darks, but I's haves lights for us. Its is importants to gets backs quicklys."

Out of Character: I thought there were some tied up and injured workers. They are the ones Tomas is trying to hire. If they are gone, Tomas does a quick search of the woods, spending no more than 7-10 minutes, and shouting out his offer to noone in particular.

"Thanks Ferrin, that's good advice. "

Jeaal limps to where the captives are and sits down.

"How are you all?" Jeaal smiles at the captives, putting on his most friendly face, "So, what are you guys doing here, anyways? Be truthful, please. I'd hate to have to Magic you."

Tomas and Antreen eventually dig a hole large enough to accomodate all the bodies of the dead soldiers. Weeping the sweat from her forehead, the cleric sets the bridge back into place and goes retrieve her bag. Passing through the commoners' camp she notices that, when the thugs fled, they left the two wounded workers unattended. One of them is still unconscious but the other is awake and looking at the healer with a frightened expression. No sign of the two workers held captive who must have managed to get away somehow.

A small funeral is held after the hole has been filled with earth and its position marked with a stick.
The whole party gets busy packaging everything they can find and placing it on the only empty handcart. Is a difficult operation, but in the end the group manage to make a pile of all the items and secure them using the two spare ropes found in the makeshift tent. The two barrels full of water have to be left behind but this way, with a little bit of luck, the cart should hold.
Jeaal tries to get some information from the commoners but, after the hard judgement expressed by Captain Tomlin, none of them dares to open his mouth anymore. The unconscious thug comes to his senses and starts looking around in confusion, realizing he has been tied and held captive.

Ja'laron comes out of the military tent bringing with him one of the soldiers, now up and conscious: "Wonderful guards you are", he says to Mina and Krusten in a sarcastic tone, "Were not for me hearing strange noises from the other room, this one would be already free and on the loose".

Tomas pockets the military patch, planning to use it as an evidence. He then tries to use the thug's greed as a lever to obtain some help. Captain Tomlin turns his head to the other side, in disapproval, and the thugs start looking at each other with a glitter in their eyes. "Whatever you order, for some spare gold. But you have to free us otherwise we will not be able to be much help". Pondering the proposal, the paladin checks the woods around the clearing. He finds the two captive workers, still tightly tied to each other and strenuously trying to get away through the thick vegetation.
