Mina, just as sarcastic to Ja'Laron, replies, "Excuse me, next time I think of making sure the whole tent is clear of possible enemies and return with things for the whole party after asking someone else to guard, I'll think twice. Not to mention, were it not for me you wouldn't still be breathing. So, leave the attitude for the bad guys please."
With that, Mina walks away from the rouge back to the supplies she found.
Seeing Thomas with the military patch, Mina tells him of the other one sewn to padded armor she found in the small room where she confiscated the bedroll and waterskin. She also tells him of the couple of torches and the tindertwigs in the trunk.
Krusten, seeing that the holy man has found the escapees, tries to catch up to the workers that are tied and when she does she will use her intimidation to get them to not run no more. She will then bring then bring them back.
Anntreen looks on the two wounded workers unattended and stands still slowly sets down her staff. And puts her hands out in front of her palms up.
"See me now unarmed and know I mean no harm. May I approach to check on your wounded friend?" She asks. If the man allows her she will look the unconscious man and the awake one over to see how badly they are wounded. If the awake man seems to frightened to let her come near she will take leave to gather her bag then ask again as she passes back toward the bridge.
After looking over the men is she is let. Or if she is denied. She will tell them, " We will be heading back to town before dark. You and your friend are hurt. Please come with us to be safe, the wild dogs bores and woods at night must be much more frightening then me." She smiles hoping to make them relax.
After getting her bag one way or the other she hopes the men will let her help them back over to the group packing the carts. Or at least come with her. She picks her staff back up on her way to the bridge with bag on back.
Anntreen walks up to the group as there tiff is going on. She gives a heavy breath and lightly displeased sound then goes to look over the wagons putting her bag on one a long with her staff. If the commoner is with her or she was aloud to help cray the unconscious fellow to the carts, she will make room on one if need be and place the man there. She will tank the other man if they cam. And then weather they had come with her or not, she takes up one of the carts handles and looks over at her group. "Are we ready to go yet?"
Out of Game:
Loving the thought of him having a crush on her. But internal monologuing aside shes not unaware of this fact possibly of having happened based off his behavior before. That is also why she kissed his cheek to see if he had the same kind of light feelings developing for her that she had fro him.
Carnosus was still blushing and kicking himself for what he considered to be stupidity. He bit the nail of his right thumb as he thought, deep down he wanted to know how Anntreen felt about him, but his self preservation instinct conflicted because it didn't want his heart to get broken. He let out a heavy sigh/groan involuntarily. "Get it together ranger, just focus on the task at hand...witch happens to be protecting her because...you owe her your life...walked right into that one...crud..." He mumbled this to himself and wondered if he hadn't done it just as an excuse to get closer to her, even he didn't know at this point, he sighed/groaned again and ended up face palming, he then stood near Anntreen. "I'm ready to leave." His face was still tinted slightly red
"Yes, please. We's needs to be leavings soon," Ferrin agreed quickly. Ferrin carefully stows the basket of berries on one of the carts and grabs his staff for the trip. After they get everything across the bridge, he suddenly remembers his bag dropped in the woods and runs back to grab it, jogging back with an accomplished smile on his face, backpack bouncing from side to side as it towers over his head.
Tomas says to the bound men, "Trust me, don't worry about her words. Come help us and we'll pay. 5 copper to pack and a silver to travel."
He turns to Kursten and says to her privately, "What are you, a pirate to take what you want? Even I haven't heard of pirates to take unwilling slaves."
"Listen holy man, I'm not so gullible like you... Willing to give a scoundrel your very belongings. At least what I take I make good use and this is the first time I have taken anything but you religious men are all the same preaching one thing and doing another."
Krusten as usual uninitiated by anyone gives him a menacing stare letting him know to back off.
Tomas takes up a territorial pose and stares back, "I think you are letting past experiences cloud your perception of me. Dare accuse me of hypocrisy? Back it up! I have never done such! Besides, those thugs are the kind of people that require charity the most. To see there is more than a life of stealing. And the two in front of us have done no wrong, I'd prefer to hire them before the thugs."
