Carnosus smiled and nodded. "Thank you Anntreen, I can rest easy now that I have your word, remember, if you need anything at any time just let me know. I'm sworn to help any way I can."
Out of Character:: I hope I'm not causing any trouble for you kit. If so just let me know about it.
In Game:
Anntreen nods shearing a smile with her good friend. "You know what I said, you owe me nothing. Any debit you feel you must pay is one placed on yourself by yourself. It is my job to heal who needs it, I am just sorry my skills lack in such a way that I could not patch all of you guys up."
Out of Game:
Nope its all fun.
Mina nods to Jeaal after he speaks up to join her to the tavern. She says to him, "They might be a bit put off at first because you haven't been there before, but buy a couple of drinks and wait perhaps an hour, and you'll get tongues wagging."
Mina looks over to Thomas and tells him, "We'll join back up with you guys after we're done at the tavern. See you all at Goatshearers."
With that she hustles a bit towards the tavern with Jeaal in tow.

Captain Tomlin turns to Anntreen with a sad expression painted on his face. "What you said might be true for you Elves", he says in a polite tone, "But Humans can't be compared to your kin. We lack your affinity with magic and, since the Cataclysm, the Gods have turned their attention elsewhere. Or are dead, like somebody keeps saying. Only few of our priests can actually cast spells and, even at higher ranks, they have limited power. As for wizards, you can count them by yourself. In all LastKeep we only had six. Word is that the new generations are being gifted with powers again, like in our myths, but at the moment we can only rely on our wits and guts" (Setting description... Never wondered why first level characters are considered so special?).
Slowly, the dancing light gets closer and closer until you start making out a slouching figure advancing behind it. The old guard lets go a small scream of surprise when he spots you. "By the Holy Sickle! The hunters brought home some game! Goatshearer will be delighted. Come, come, I will lead the way: I would not miss the Big Boss reaction for anything in this world!". The man is visibly excited. He opens the way limping clumsily before the group.
When you get into Lowmeadow, you realize that you arrived from a different direction this time. The road suggested by the workers connected directly with the large one bringing to Goatshearer's Ranch making you save a good deal of time.
The main group heads to the Ranch while Mina, Jeaal and Ja'laron go to the Inn. At the ranch, a small crowd quickly gathers by the main archway, despite the late hour. Zachary, the supervisor, instructs some of the men to set up a rudimentary form of security order to avoid anybody to get close to the carts and the prisoners. After a few minutes, you are approached by the butler that informs you about being already waited inside the mansion by an impatient Simon Goatshearer.
The tavern is warm and quiet, as always. Jeaal and Ja'laron sit at one of the small tables: apart from two drunken guards and three commoners sitting at the leftmost large table near the backdoor, you are the only patron at the moment. An old, slow server approaches your sits informing you that the menu for the night is limited to vegetable soup. For drinking, you can choose between mead or hot cider. A meal and a drink would cost you a silver which includes a place by the hearth for the night if you wish so.
Butch, the owner, approaches Mina with a warm smile: "Miss, I think you lost something yesterday when you left. If you will be so kind to follow me I will show it to you".

"The Gods will never turned their backs on us. Its if from are worship that they gain power. It is from are faith they gain strength, it is from there blessing we gain magic it is from there will we grow strong. With out a follower a god is week but with out are gods we are week. If you hold any faith in your hart hold on to it. Do not waver and you will be strong." Anntreen smiles.
Anntreen looks around as we come in to Lowmeadow as she walks with heavy steps pulling at the wagon.
At the Ranch Anntreen nods in kind at the servants of Simon Goatshearer who give ward that he is waiting inside. Anntreen grabs her back pack and staff from the cart.
"Tomas shall we?" Anntreen says taking a step forward toward the gate and a way from the carts stretching her sore arms and back as she moves.
"Oh damnation," Tomas exclaims when he sees the crowd. "I was hoping to avoid this but it looks like not only the walls but also the ground has ears."
Tomas says to Zachary, "Don't let anyone out of sight. We need to question them all. I suggest a full lockdown if you can manage to do it."
"Ladies first," Tomas replies to Anntreen and follows her. At the doorway, he pulls out his holy symbol and raises it as though in praise, but actually casting a Detect Evil on the crowd, hopefully revealing if Zachary can be trusted too.
