"Mister Simon Goatshearer we found the group responsible for the attacks on your wagons, we managed to disperse many from the group. A number more died in there flee or resistance despite best efforts to minimize blood shed. We manged to catch the leader of the group but this is not the end to the problem sir. The man we have captured, while being the leader of the men assaulting your caravans and workers was receiving his orders from another. The possibility that whom ever truly is behind this could find another way to interfere with your group and bring havoc to this town. However, we intend to look in on the clues of information gathered to this task tomorrow after a long and good nights rest.
However, we have removed the tool by which they were striking against your people and goods. By the way, the name is Anntreen. Don't worry your not the first or the last to forget it."
She smiles calmly hoping to garner the old man's trust a moment longer.
"The man that we have captured is a defector from the military at the last keep by the neck. It is humbly my option that his punishment is outside the jurisdiction of this town and that we contented our escort of him to receive military punishment rather then martial law.
The task by which you have hired us has been completed. The group responsible for the attacks have been neutralized. The fact that we discovered they where acting under orders of another's desire tends to garner more questions than answers and an entirely new set of tasks should you sill require assistance."
Curiosity piqued, Mina ponders the Bar Keepers actions. She tells the Bar Woman, "Yes, I'd love a meal and a drink, please."
She pulls from a pocket a single silver, and hands it over to the woman. She then asks, "What's been going on around here since I was in the area last? Also, would you know whats's with the Bar Keeper about some item he said I left, then clammed up when I asked him to bring it out?"

*Ahem* Tomas interrupts with a loud cough. "The ex-Captain we captured was very helpful during his capture. He is not a bad man, he has apologised for what he has done, but murder is not among his crimes. The murderer was dealt with swiftly in his drunken stupor before questioning by Kursten here." He motions a hand in her direction. "The only crime this town has the authority to deal with is robbery or aiding in robbery depending on the confessions of our prisoners. I think it wise to look favourably on his actions and not hand him to the military unless they expressly come to this village looking for him."
He pauses a second to let the words sink in, then approaches Simon closely and in a harsh whisper says, "We also have no clues towards an informant in your employ. I have asked Zachary for a lockdown if he can manage one. Is there anyone you trust that can help us in this matter?"
Jeaal hands over two silver pieces, one for the meal, "And one for your eyes, " Jeaal says, gazing deeply into the barmaids eyes in a flirtatious manner.
AT THE TAVERN
The old server pockets your money dedicating a disgusted look to Jeaal. "Lad, you would pay much more than that silver if you could see my eyes' real color behind the cataract", she says putting the extra silver back on the table. Then, turning to Mina: "Not much going on here, really. But better like this: too many unwanted events lately, some boredom is more than welcome. As for my son, Milady, he is like that. A good guy, but he loses himself when it comes to women. A certain woman, in particular...".
AT THE RANCH
Zachary tries to organize a lockdown while still struggling to keep the curious mob away from the party and the preys they brought back from the hunt. Captain Tomlin looks at Carnosus in confusion, still trying to understand what is going on around them: "I don't know what you are talking about, kid. I've never being racist and I don't remember having said anything bad about elves or whoever else".
Inside, Simon Goatshearer listens with attention to your report. "This is wonderful news", he exclaims as you tell him about your achievements. "The problem is solved then! No more bandits and no more need to worry. As for your concerns, Brother Tomas, is not my duty to administer justice. I suggest you bring your prisoners to the local post, in front of the inn, and discuss with the guards there your catch on the situation. Now, if you would follow me upstairs I will give you your reward". Before moving, Goatshearer dismisses the butler with a quick sign of his hand.
Out of Character: Sorry, I forgot last time (terrible period for me, hope to be back to full efficiency soon). Tomas detects evil in the ranch and perceives some very faint malevolent aura, mainly from some of the thugs. Zachary looks clean as well as most of the ranch workers.
Carnosus looks down, he nods. "Sorry, it's just that, before my group showed up at your camp, we ran into some of your men and they were very racist to my elven team mates. I assumed you would be the same and for that I am sorry. Could you explain why those others were like that at least? Oh and on a lighter note, your skill with a sword has earned some of my respect, that slash to the chest you gave me is likely to scar forever." He was being honest, he did respect the man's skills
Jeaal laughs good naturedly, "I'm sure I would, mistress. Beauty such as yours is not seen every day." He grins happily, digging in to his food and drink.
