In Game:
Finding her way down to the stables Anntreen makes her way to where the captives are being guarded. She wanted to check on the man that was hurt but she is surprised to now see a woman sleeping in the hay near where the guards are keeping watch on the group tied up.

"She dose not look like shes from this ranch" Anntreen mumbles to her self looking at the sleeping woman from a distance. Anntreen then spots that the woman has pointed ears and that she is also an Elf like myself.

Anntreen turns to the guards on watch and thanks them kindly for willfully helping to guard the captives while the group rested after such a hard day the night before. She ask them a bout the injured man that was brought in as well. And then moves to speak with the captives after gaining information from the guards.

She asks the captives if any of them are awake. "Is there any information you can offer about the men that would come to see the captain and the other commanders in the camp while you worked there? Or the men that hired you to be workers at the camp in the fist place." She answers them that there only being held for questioning and that if they where only workers at the camp and not part of the raid party that attacked many caravans killing many and harming so many more, that they would likely be getting let go after they finish answering the investigative questions of her group.

Mina awakens a bit stiff and still a little sore from her last battle the other day. Her thoughts wander to the wish that she was around the healer for hr abilities.

Suddenly, movement takes her thoughts away. Her sleep encrusted eyes focus to the fire pit, and sees the Mercenary. Mina rolls her eyes with the knowledge of knowing that if you' don't pay someone to do something they usually don't. Hence the 'man' is still here and not thrown out on his [huh?].

Mina remains in her spot as she waits for others to awaken in the tavern.

Tomas was hard to find the night before and learns that Tomlin is missing the next morning?

"What? How? Last night?" He asks Anntreen. "It's impossible to track him with all the other footprints on the road. I - I suppose it's how destiny decided it. We have no idea what the guard would do with him."

He quickly calms down and waits until after breakfast when the group should be together.

Ferrin looked about a while longer for Captain Tomlin, even standing at the door to the building and looking out across the ranch through the rain. He spotted the shadow of an Elven woman slip into the stables and wondered if Anntreen was looking over there for the Captain. He eventually makes his way to sleep with Alaric curled up on the cloak next to his head. They awaken to the smell of breakfast and eagerly rush to the common room to partake in the hot food being served. He has the notebook with him again, and looks over the pages again to be sure he didn't miss anything. He will wait until everyone has gathered together before announcing that he has found a riddle in the book, but he's not sure exactly what it means.

Out of Character: I know it was MariJaen who went into the stables, but Ferrin assumes it was Anntreen.

AT THE RANCH

MaryJaen's rest is disturbed by the voices of people talking in an animated way. She opens her eyes and sees an elf woman questioning the men held captive in the barn. The guards, that are common peasants as well, watch in silence.
"We know nothing, Milady", protests one of the prisoners. "The soldiers never allowed us in their camp and we only saw visitors coming or going every now and then. We knew Albert, may he rest in peace. Is him that hired us for the job of robb... I mean, keeping the camp clean and neat, that's it, clean and neat. We are innocent as you can easily see. Please let us go, kind Mistress".

Krusten looks briefly around for Abigail but she doesn't see her anywhere: probably she should head to the mansion to find the girl. Before proceeding with her investigation, the warrior decides to honor the breakfast table. The rest of the group is already in the common room, attracted by the food offered in there. To their surprise, somebody is already waiting for them at the table: Captain Tomlin!

AT THE INN

Seeing that his companions are already asleep, Jeaal gives up the idea of renting a room and finds a place next to the fire where rest for the night. In the morning he listens with attention to Mina's report, before the druid stops abruptly distracted by something. Jeaal follows her look and sees Ceza Feuro, the mercenary, standing by the fire.
The old maid, which you know to be the mother of the innkeeper, approaches you offering breakfast.

Out of Character: Sorry for the delay. I didn't solve my problems yet: I will probably be slow until the end of [August] \ beginning of [September]. I'll post something about it in my intro thread as soon as I have time.

Anntreen shakes her head seeing that they know nothing but are not free of any crime and knowing not the full gilt of the acts they took for coin. She gives a heavy breath and asks the ranch hands if they don't mind guarding them another hour or 2 as her group will likely be walking them in to town after breakfast.

As Anntreen moves to head out of the stables she notes that the woman is awake, Anntreen gives a light turn in her step walking over to her hay pile of a bed side and saying, "Hello" In a sweet tone.

MariJaen, After being woke up, starts to collect her things when the elf woman walks over to her, Marijaen replies to the elf woman's kind tone. " Hello, well met. I'm MariJaen Catormany. Are you perhaps the owner of this ranch? I am willing to pay for the shelter your barn provided me last night, and if I do not have enough coin I can work for my debt." MariJaen thinking of her empty stomach hopes that she can perhaps work for some food as well as her tummy rumbles.

Anntreen can't help but giggle at the suggestion she was the ranch master, her giggle quickly becomes a wide grin and she offers her hand out to shake that of the woman. "Name is Anntreen, and no I don't own this place I do however well my group that is are at this time working for him in order to take care of some bandits and mercenary in the area that where attacking and killing his caravan workers. The lot behind me is part of the workers and hired thugs from that group we manged to brake up there camp last night."

Anntreen is interrupted when the woman's stomach as well as her oun make sounds of emptiness seeking food. "Tell you what, come join my group for breakfast and perhaps if you have any skill you can join us, we have been taking on many new people over the last couple of days in order to have enough skill to take on the threats of this area."

Anntreen is a moderately young looking Elf woman she is good looking above average by some bit. She has honey colored wavy hair that falls soft around her face. Her green eyes and tan skin suggest she was book learned for many years and her soft pink lips only add to the delicate tones she uses when she speaks. You imagine she has likely never spoken ill of anyone that is not deserved it and that her lips speak the truth more frequently then even a half lie.

"I am a Cleric of Eger goddess of mercy and protester of the week and sick, so tell me miss MariJaen have you a path set before you or skill you might offer our group?" She asked as the 2 walked from the stables.
