"Perhaps the others found something of greater value than their pay in that, and took off before we found out. Leave it, take what you need from the pack then leave the rest for someone else. Let's get out of here, we've spent enough time here on a possible fools errand."

Mina says a farewell to the Innkeeper and his mother, and leaves the room key he lent her on the bar. Mina makes for the door and then to the ranch with Ceza in tow.

Carnosus goes quickly as he can to help gather water, he sees the flames and has a flash back to when his own home was attacked, fire was only one of the weapons the half orcs used that day. He snapped out of it and sighed. "This is not good."

Out of Character: I'm a bit confused as to how Krusten is hiding (Burying?) these items quickly when a building is on fire and we're in 'action time' so to speak. Also, feel free to choose who you say it to, but please don't leave it hanging because now we don't know who knows.

Krusten will see who is closer, either Tomas or MariJaen and give them the brass symbols. She will then make her escape (My original post about getting the horse, etc.).

MariJaen conitnues her frantic struggle to get water and douse the flames, trying to get people calm enough to help and listen to form a line from the well to the fire in order to acomplish the task at hand as fast as possible.
