I read somewhere that the dude who does Elmo's voice has gotten so many warnings from the doctors to stop because he can kill his larynx for good but the guy just won't quit.

I remembered in the news that the guy's larynx doesn't work anymore, poor guy, he should have quitted when the doctors warned him about the larynx.

Sesame Workshop says Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash has resigned from 'Sesame Street' in the wake of allegations that he had sex with an under-aged youth. Sesame Workshop called the controversy a "Distraction." Ref. USAToday

If this is true which I hope it isn't it will be the heartbreak for many Elmo fans that heard that voice for years. I doubt anyone could come up with a voice like that for Elmo.
