This film has so many meanings and symbols that you can spend hours talking about it. You are placed into the future where men are incapable of having children. There are wars and I'll treatments.

You are dropped into an interesting scenario in London, England. The movie has a dull tone, especially in the beginning, and then suddenly shocks you with certain scenes. Those of you who have seen it will know what I mean when I say this film puts you into the driver's seat when it comes to the torment of life in the war zone.

There was an unnecessary amount of foul language and for me that was the only drawback, but I am sure the producers left that in for realism as they often do with these kinds of movies.

Clive Owen was excellent. The backdrops and acting were top notch for me. If you want to know what it feels like to be on the other side of urban / street wars (similar to maybe Palestine), rather than just watching it on the news, this is the movie for you.

At first I thought this was going to be boring and really I have to admit that I almost pressed the channel button on the remote but in the end it was good.

The world's youngest citizen has just died at 18, and humankind is facing the likelihood of its own extinction. Set in and around a dystopian London fractious with violence and warring nationalistic sects, Children of Men follows the unexpected discovery of a lone pregnant woman and the desperate journey to deliver her to safety and restore faith for a future beyond those presently on Earth.
