Some people say that if you're a critical thinker that you tend to find faults where there are none. What I don't understand about people who say that is if they never had an opinion about anything. Without critical thinking you will never find the truth behind something or someone. I'm here to do just as I said... And hope to get some worthwhile discussion in the process.

Welcome to the board! I read with interest your introduction. Personally, I'm convinced that critical thinking is simply a sign of intelligence. Of course a critical analysis must be something deeper and different from just criticize in a non constructive way and that's where the risk of straying from the path becomes higher. Thank you for the welcome and I agree with you. Critical thinking with humility is the best combination, the added humility means you can still learn and be corrected if you're wrong or accept when you've made a mistake.
