My buddy and I were talking about Physics today when I remembered this movie. It is at least 15 years old, and starred Yahoo Serious (yes, that is his name) as a young Einstein. He is the humble son of a Tasmanian apple farmer, who discovers a technique for putting bubbles into beer. He travels to Sydney to patent this discovery and the wacky adventure begins. I enjoyed this movie in its comedy and wackiness. If you get the chance to see it, take a peek and let me know what you think.
I remember seeing this movie! I went out and rented it again. I thought it was hilarious. It has a lot of slapstick humor in it, so my wife hated it and couldn't stop commenting on how ridiculous the movie was. If you like slapstick, and don't mind movies that are just plain silly, you should rent Young Einstein. I still can't understand how someone comes up with a name like Yahoo Serious. He had to have made it up, no mother could really name her son the......right?
Yes konquererz, as you suspected, Yahoo Serious is not his real name. It is in fact Greg Pead. I am glad someone else has seen the movie and appreciate the humor in it like I did. If it makes you feel better, my wife wasn't too thrilled about the humor in the film. Here's some more info on this writer, director and all out goofy guy!
