Looks to me that some one forgot to tie down or properly put the container back inside a building. With jet engines around on a airport it is very easy for loose or improper stored items to be either sucked into a engine and thus ruining it or becoming a object that is thrown up by the jet blast that can serious hurt a person if not kill them.

I am glad that no one was injured with this. I believe some company is now going to be buying a new jet engine.

Here is the photo from FNC of the container stuck in the engine. That is going to be costly not only for the engine but the whole plane becomes grounded.

Yes the whole plane is just going to have to sit there till they can get a new engine there. Now it is not that hard to drop a engine and put a new one in it just takes time and the mechanics are just waiting to hear those dollar signs go off as they are hired to swap the engines.
