Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke announces run for U.S. Senate
Former Ku Klux Klan leader, and white supremacist, David Duke plans to run for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Louisiana Republican David Vitter. Duke, a convicted felon, served one term as a state representative more than two decades ago. He ran unsuccessfully for governor in 1991 against Democrat Edwin Edwards. Ref. USAToday.
Interesting move and just in time for Donald Trump's entrance into politics. I will be watching from afar to see if he succeeds and if he does, look out, we are heading back to the 1950s.
