Crappy Update to my Laptop buying woes: I just got an email telling me that the company I bought my laptop from and had to send back for a replacement gave me a refund instead. Sorry to hear these news. I can imagine how upset you are... Just out of curiosity, which kind of silly reason they found when they contacted you? If they can't fix the problem, they should give you a new laptop of the same type. Unless they put on the market a whole line of faulty products...

They didn't give me a reason why they were refunding me instead of exchanging, one of the reasons I'm going to calmly throw a fit when I call.When I had to call to tell about the problem with the laptop the first time, I was told I was going to get a replacement.
Meanwhile, Kitten has offered to let me borrow her laptop until I do get one, finally. She and I only live about three hours away from each other.

That's because the website engine always adds or subtracts more or less one year from your real age. This is meant as a way to not reveal personal data (why put the birthdate, you will ask.
