Approval Character RPG Dragons and Dungeons

Dear players my game has slowed down, not because of the game itself, but because we have 2 players that are inactive.

This is a warning to Krusten, and Tsila.
Both of you last posted in my game over a week ago. (page 77 and page 83)

Tsila you gave notice you would be offline for 3 days and that I could "NPC" your character while you were away for the weekend. This weekend offline has now become a week, if I do not hear from you within the next 3 days, I will consider this inactivity abandonment of your character.

Krusten you did not give me any notice of your lack of interest in the game, and I have seen you active on the forum in other areas. If you are no longer interested in the game this is fine. If you still wish to play and there is something you feel is needed in the game to be changed or added to keep you active please let me know. You have 3 days for me to hear back from you before I will be considering your lack of activity as abandonment of your character.

I feel a week and a warning and 3 days to respond more then plenty of time. If you think I am being unfair consider your lack of actively has been detrimental to the ability for the other and still very active players of my game to have fun.

I would like to thank my active players for there patience while we wait for both of your responses.

To my active players combat will be starting tomorrow, the 2 non active players will be taking the back. The 2 "NPC's" will be taking a slot in the mid-most of the party. Game will not be stopping or slowing down in wait for inactivity any longer.

If you feel this is unfair at all feel free to talk to me about it on my introduction thread, as I do not want to clutter this important out of game thread with anything off topic.

Oh sorry, I'm finding it difficult to follow. I put actions but there is no reply to them so I wait a long time while everyone is just role-playing in conversation and then still no result of my actions. Then sometimes the game moves in a direction I did not say my character was doing. Its just different than I'm used to. It was nice trying it out with the rogue and I appreciate you allowing me to play but I will have to bow out now.

That seems fair. I think the disjointing was caused by the addition of the new characters. Which was needed. We have fleshed it out now. And are together but it was hard to juggle multiple storyline. We are now a solid group not split into small parties which should make if flow easier.

Sometimes I slow down because sometimes I wait for the others to make their actions with their characters. But I think that is the problem, once one or two remains inactive, this might slow down both the game and the players. I find you are being fair though, I will try my best to remain active.

I am interested in playing in this game if you need another character. Please let me know what restrictions to race and or classes available. I understand I start at third level. But with no equipment listed just a wish list. Let me know what all I need to do and I will get a character ready for play.

How to get your character proved
Please post your drafted level 3 character. Do not fill in any gear or equipment armor or weapons rather, I would like to see a wish list of your favorite 3 magical items. This helps me get a read on what kind of player you are they are not things you will get they are things you would like to see come in to game maybe later.

Which kind of character can I submit?

Any, as long as you are ready to be active and follow the rules.

We will be using Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 rule set for character generation, and I'm restricting you to only standard races for now.

So, you may pick from the following list for your race: Please take level adjustments into account.
Barbarians
Dwarves, Hill
Dwarves, Gray
Dwarves, Deep
Dwarves, Mountain
Elves, High
Elves, Wild
Elves, Wood
Gnomes, Rock
Gnomes, Forest
Half-Elves
Half-Orcs
Halflings, Lightfoot
Halflings-Tallfellows
Humans
Dark elf", Drow

Important Notes
Take into consideration the level adjustment for some of the listed races as your total level must equal 3.

Also understand that every nation's population was devastated around 100 years ago, so if you're going to be playing a long livid or slow aging race you will likely be young, or a war veteran, or one of the few children who survived during the war and adjust barely an adult. Likewise if you're playing a short-lived race taken consideration how many generations it's been since your forefathers survived the war.

My best advice is just try to stick to the setting.

I will ask for information about your equipment after your character has been approved. Your character should have the standard information regarding class, race, gender, age, physical appearance, stats, abilities, skills, spells, feats, alignment and a detailed back story of how you came to be or why you are in the capital city of Florana, wetlands you hail from, what profession or kind of life you lead, and your political views on the new Crown Prince and soon to be king.

I want to have a back story about your character please read over my settings thread, I know it has a lot of info in it.

Religion is playing a large roll in my story as its a test of the gods a story of finding, questioning, or abandoning faith. But more so a quest given to an unknown group by the gods/ goddesses to right a [great] unbalance in the world.

Other things I want to know. What kind of monster hunted your characters nightmares as s kid.
What has brought you to or through the capital city. See setting thread for details. I want to know if you had any items hidden on you and how well they where hidden - where they where- what they where. A Description of the clothing you would where on a fair days weather in spring.

I also need to know with your favored weapon do you or did you carry it a round normally, and do you have a holster for it on you- where in your day to day life.

I will let you know as I go over your proposal if there are any other small changes or added info I need, after I get a chance to count your points and so on.

Side note:
House feat offered.
Dexterous Dodge: It gives the feat Dodge, plus an AC bonus of +1."
