Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 RPG Character Approval - Page 20

I like it when my players ask things I try to look things up to expand my own knowledge and condense the information down to help them, with out overloading them with facts or options meant for campaigns with level 20+ characters. I tend to avoid shearing the advanced information as not to confuse my fist time players such as Felipe and Krusten when she was playing. I always suggest they look it up if they want more information on it them my quick answers offer.

Yeah I understand I have no problem with helping them learn myself. I do enjoy the game and am always looking to learn myself.

I had 3 players asking for or wanting a shield and you found the fist one to come in play.

smile.gif I try to be fair. IF I am using a sword I would keep it but using a bow it would be best to allow one of the others to use it.

I would like one at some point, but I think, I'm having fun with my, errr Izumis spear/sword combo.

Also KNtoran, I beat you by a year. First time I played Dungeons & Dragons, I was 5 in 1980. It was my elder brothers game he got for his birthday. I made a Dwarven fighter. He got bored with the game and as Dungeon Master killed my character off by having him fall in a well and breaking his legs. With no one around he told me my character had died-The End...I cried so much cry.gif .

I think about it know and laugh, mostly because I had no idea what I was doing. I only knew I was trying to please my brother.

I remember all my characters I had when I first started. When I finally got a character past the third level I celebrated. I think I went through 20-30 characters before I got one going well. I had a couple harsh Dungeon Masters but I learned a lot.

(Fortitude roll result: 21) - (21 + 3 = 23)

Felipe how do you get a roll of 21 on a 20 sided dice. Now just think about that for a moment.

I know you use the dice rolling program online because you don't have dice, but man the one you are using must be glitched. This is the third time it has told you a number over the max the dice might roll.

I understand you need to use it to roll but please look at the result with a critical mind and understand some programs don't work all the time. You have to double check the number it gives you. If you set the dice roller program to roll 1 D20 the number it spits out needs to be 20 or under. I don't know how to say this other then please be more careful and use your head. Maybe change what program you use. I know this forum has one, or is that the one you use?

On a side note, I rolled your fortitude save for you and you passed, but seriously find a new roller program, and please double check your math.

KittenPunk, I use the member wars dice and probably it has glitches that causes it to give me random results even it is over 20. But next time I will check the results more carefully and if it is a number over 20 I will roll again until the result is 20 or under OK?
