Are you putting you bonus number in then adding it again after the roll on accident? I did that once because it only gives you the final number.
That's why I like the dice roller JB has for his. Avoids issues plus gives the Dungeon Master some extra rolls so you don't know if you miss something.
When rolling it for 1 D20 just check to see if its over 20 and then if it is re-roll. A roll should never be higher then the sides of the dice, so a D20 can not roll over 20, but 20 or under is fine.
More examples
A D12 a roll of 12 or under is fine.
A D8 you want 8 or under.
A D6 you want 6 or under.
And if that roller is glitched then maybe find another one online that is easy for you to use.
And thanks sgtlee. I will have to take a look at what dice roller JB has.

I figured out the mistake I have made, the member wars dice didn't have any glitches, it was me that I didn't put the bonus number but I put the modifier number instead, so because of that I can roll a D20 again and again and the result can be over 20. But next time I will try to not cause that mistake again.
Yes I do still have room for a new player if you want to join.
There is a long settings thread you will want to read over before joining. It gives world information a long with the theme of the campaign a dungeon with many hints and clues for a task deemed possible only of completion by a group worth such as you are.
After reading the settings thread if you have more question or want to draft a level 3 character for the game please do we would love to have another player so long as you plain to be active.
So you know we already have many fighters.
We only have 2 spell castes one is a cleric the other a half sorcerer.
We could use a magic caster if that is something you think you may want to play.
We all so do not have a druid yet, but we have another new player joining this week that is drafting one. I could have both of you come in together it makes it easier on me.
We do have a ranger but we do not have a rouge.
Additionally I will be out of town from Friday to Sunday this upcoming weekend (camping with no Internets) So, do not feel rushed to draft your character.
The settings thread can be found here.
Settings
It has a lot of world information that may not seem relevant as this is a Dungeon crawler campaign but it will be vital to working threw the larger puzzles and quests. And, when is having a brief history and world background to draw upon a bad thing.
This also allows you to have more information for character generation, you can actually read up on a part of the land if you want to be form it.
Religions are playing a key part in my campaign as well. So, be sure to look the Gods and Goddesses over that can be found in the same thread under the world information.

Appearance: A four foot halfling weighing 35 pounds. He has black, curly hair on his head and on his feet. He dresses finely; a scarlet vest over a silken white undershirt with some snazzy black trousers to match. He also wears a red broad-brimmed hat with a dove's feather in it. His grin is crooked but contagious and it seems that Zar is always about to burst into laughter.
Backstory: A Tallfellow halfling, Vigo Zar grew up in the Evangrow Islands to fairly wealthy. Having a passion for music, the fine arts, and adventure, Zar left the islands and became a bard; wandering the world and singing for his supper. Eventually, he made his way to Florana, where he hopes to stay to see the sights and have an adventure.
Deity: Rox.
