Game Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons

Search roll: 26(17+9) I am using an online dice roller, the one provided by Wizards of the Coast actually. The book [kind of] disturbed me with the random change from sensible and ink to insane and bloddy.

Out of game: Good.
And, I still need your spot check.

In Game:
In the large room, you began to look a round, you quickly notice one of the other men looking at the well in the center of the room, then you watch as he takes a drink, nothing seems to happen.

As you walk up you notice one of the bricks around the outside of the well is a little out of place, possibly loss. As you kneel down to look at it, you realize there is a crack where the mortar between the stones has separated and warn over time. Shoved in it is a small scrap of parchment.

You pull it out and read it out aloud. "I am water, why not offer me as a drink, for I am a dragon And I thirst, for I am a tree and my roots thirst, for I am the key of life and I thirst." The hand writing is rather girly and in common.

Game Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons

You spot that one of the carvings a slightly different style then the others is depicting Meera the goddess, holding a baby by the foot over a web of spiders. The mark of the hourglass is on the baby's left upper back. Under it in Elven reads "Rise or Fall."

There are segments of text all around the room in many languages.
Do you read the ones you can?

And do you put the small peace of parchment back int he crack?

Izumi starts with the first room she sees. She goes in for a deeper but cautious look(trying to make sure no traps)

(Out of Character:: Listen check 16+3=19, Spot check 15+3=18, Search check 19+2=21)


When she is done there she moves on to the next room, with the dead Half-Orc, and looks around.

(Out of Character:: Listen check 11+3=14, Spot check 19+3=22, Search check 18+2=20)


After that, she goes to the third room, and checks within there too for clues to an exit or her child.

(Out of Character:: Listen check 14+3=17, Spot check 16+3=19, Search check 2+2=4)



(Out of Character::....and here I started thinking my dice were being so good because I haven't Pc'ed a Dungeons & Dragons game for awhile. Then BAM, a 2! (laugh))

Room 1
You hear nothing. You spot a broken half peace of chock in the corner. And, your quick search of the bones, you find some coins, and a couple of rags that might be worth keeping and used as bandages if they could be cleaned or purified. (5 cooper 1 silver + 3 rags)

Room 2
You hear nothing. You spot The dead Half-Orc, is wearing a shirt a per of large pants, a leather belt, has 1 empty belt bag, good boots, wool socks, and a silver earring -non magical. All good for the taking if you feel like undressing a corps. As you search you find a 2 wooden dishes, and a broken wooden mug.

Room 3 end of the hall.
From the third room, you saw matt come from just a moment a go, the look on his face was highly disturbed. You spot him tuck something in his bag as he leaves, it looked like a book. He walks down the hall to the main room, as you go in to the room to search. You find nothing.

Do you now go to the large room?
