In a poof of magic with all the theatrics and even a little smoke the Frilly blanket is full with china set for 4 with plaits of Endless cookies cakes tarts sweets and tea. Small dishes of fresh fruit and even sugar and cream are on the lovely little blanket.
"Had that made for my girls." Zen takes a sad breath. "Back when I was teaching them manners and how to blind in with Highly Elfs and Humans. The food will disappear if you act rude while eating it and it will re fill the snack on the dishes every time someone asks with the word Please to have it passed to them. I always Enjoyed watching the girls play with it, I miss them a lot. But war is war and it takes much from many."
Holly's eyes gleam moistily as she takes a saucer of tea, some sugar, and takes a treacle tart and lemon cake... "Sir, I could be good forever and ever for all this." Holly smiles and takes a bite of lemon cake and sips the tea. "I'm sorry to hear about your daughters, are they still alive?"
"No." He word was heavy on the air. "They where lucky I suppose the red mist took many in the fist days of the war and I can only hope there Deaths where Swift and Painless. But I will always miss them, how could any father not." Zen said the Smile gone from his lips he looks back down at the book and keeps reading.
"Haru looks over at the spread of sweats and asks trying to change the Subject for the old man to something less sad. "Was that Items also made by the same person as this rug and the box?"
"Why Yes it was." Zen responds quickly.
"Who made them if I might ask?" Asked Haru who was almost done cooking all the Meet.
"He liked to call himself Rufus but, some of us knew him by another name. He was a good friend a wise man all be it a bit nuts. I highly Wish to see him again. But, like so many things that will hing on the outcome of Quests already given." Zen informed.
