Elrik quietly listens to the group and their interactions with each other. Thinking to themselves they have been thrust into the same Trial as me. I wonder how many are here because they are truly criminals and how many are here like him. From listening to their interactions and seeing their body languages they do not appear to be thugs or cutthroats.
When the young female (Izumi) states "Perhaps the grove is behind the door with the tree symbol?" and "I think, to be cautious, each one of you should stand at the ready at each door, as I pour the offering of water on them. Agreed?"
Slightly clearing his throat so they know they are not alone, "If I may ask, what is the importance of the grove and the water you are offering?"
He calmly stands by the entrance looking at the group.
(Out of Character:) it would not let me edit which is weird I tried three times it would not [re-post].

He [re-tracks] his chain before he [announces] his presence to the group so he does not appear a threat.

Out of Character:: I tried to come back and edit but once I posted again I no longer have the option of [editing].
Out of game: Do not worry about it.
In game:
As you came in to the large room, you saw instantly the walls are covered with images and carvings depicting all manner of things. Mostly the story of the 100 year war depicted in images of the the last days of the battle and the victory of one, and the fall of the other. There are segments of text on the walls too, in many languages. The 1st one you see is in common, and reads
"Take nothing from the grove." - common
Let me know when, your character gets the chance to look around just how Long you search, spot, and read things? And, if you want to use any spells or skills.

(Out of Character:) will do waiting to enteract with the group alittle before reading the wall and searching the room. I think I can shed some more light on the words on the wall. Comprehend Languages should help. But I will wait. It would be really rude to walk in ignore them and start studying the walls.
