Rudiger says to Elric, "I think that would be wise." His face is grim as he reaches back and draws his bastard sword. He walks back to the wall beside the opening in the hallway that brought them to this room. He peeks his head around and spots down the hall. (Spot: 15+1=16)
As you slowly move back toward the hallway peeking around the 1st bind he discovers an opening in the side of the wall, and a stairway leading down.
On the wall is a word written in the same hand righting as the ones by the other doors. This time it reads, "Truth." And, has an arrow pointing down.

Elrik looks at hall, "I know we are looking for your son as well as our own freedom from this place. But if he went down those three tunnels he survived enough to come out and write on the doors. We can still look down those tunnels are take the stairs. I recommend we take the stairs. But am willing to follow you on your journey should you want to clear the other openings."
His stands ready to go either way, his weapons not drawn but his body alert.
Izumi announces, "Wait a moment." She pulls the book out and studies it a moment. She reads out three of the passages. ""Earthly ore I glow, but never can I meet the sun. At the start of the easy path the right answer will be down. Shortcuts will prove deadly." She closes the book, then asks, "Did anyone else pick up the glowing crystal? I think that's the earthly ore, but I don't know why it can't meet the sun. The other two quotes I'm not too sure about because the only way in that passage is down, and It doesn't look like a short cut for anything. " Izumi walks over to the hallway. "I leave it to all of us to decide, but my vote is this new passageway. By the words around the room it sounds each door you enter there's something wrong in there. What say everyone else?"
Elrik leans against the wall, "No, I did not see any glowing crystals, to pick up." Elrik musses to himself it would be something nice for his mother for her birthday as if drifting off, forgetting his surroundings, as if he was still on his task that had him captured and thrown in the cell.
The cold of the stonewall against his back brings him back to his current situation.
Elrik looks at the three passageways and then down the hall. Looking at the group around him and then back at the passage way. He states, " I think Izumi is correct. I think we try the new passageway."
As you all talk the flow of time has not stopped, its been 5 minutes since the water was pored, and the sound of gears and the mechanism began again, this time with far less rumbling, as the 4 entrances quickly close.
If you are near the hall, and stair well, you can watch as the wall slide down and blinds seamlessly back together, had you not just seen the opening there you would of never found it.
In the large room the heavy doors lower back in to place, swigging down and giving a small climatic twang sound as they come back to there locked and closed starting point.
Its [very] easy to gather they must have a timer built in so that once opened they only stay that way for a little wile, before locking back behind you.
You might say you feel an air of relief that you are all still together and did not separately go down any of the doors before discovering it would be a one-way trip with no second guessing.
Elrik says, "Well, that could have been bad for all of us. I wonder how many bodies have been trapped over the years by that device? I suggest we agree on our course of action and then pour the water again."
"Before we depart, I recommend everyone get water from the fountain. And please tell me what to call you. I have only learned Izumi's names from overheraing it when I first walked in."
Out of game question for sgtlee.
In your back-story you said that Elrik tends to go around with his red eye covered by something, like a head band. Have you been wearing this mask over it down here? Or, have you had that off?
It really does not have a impact one way or the other (for now). I just wanted clarification, for down the line. I bet the other players also might like to know if your red eye is blatantly visible or hidden away.
