Rudiger says, "I'm not sure about this one either. It doesn't seem to match up, and the handwriting looks different. I don't think we can trust it. I believe we should stick together though. I think there might be more that one way out of here, but if we don't stick together, I'm not sure we would have enough manpower if ambushed. I say we just pick a way and go. See if there are any clues to Izumi's child as we press forward."
Out of game: I got a little confused about the maps and the story so I messed up a little bit with my chracter, sorry.
Felipe looks at the chalk drawing, he says to the others, "I am not sure what this drawing means but I think it is showing us what to do here".

Izumi looks over the chalk map and tried to discern it, but cannot come up with anything good. "It does confuse, yes. It isn't in Haru's hand, this I do know. My best guess is this 'map' is relaying that whichever way we take, if we find ourselves coming back in this direction, not to. Also, if we find ourselves going forward in the direction we are currently at, on either side, that the ways merge forward.
We maybe could split up, but I do not suggest it either. 'Strength in numbers' as a wise warrior once said to me."
"I say we split into two small groups, remembering the trap from upstairs. I would rather at least some of us have a chance. One group goes right and one go left. Not too far down just enough to look into the rooms and halls. We are not in a race take your time and meet back here before going too far. If anyone runs into danger we call out. I will go right, who will go with me? Make sure you mark the walls outside of rooms that you have cleared should we have to come back and search for a group we now which rooms to bypass."
Elrik looks down the hall moving to the right waiting for atleast one person to travel with him.
The blue dots are the bracketed to the wall glowing ore in the main hallways.
In one room to the right you find a seemingly normal looking room other then scorch marks, and a ring of runes caved in to the floor in one of the corners.
In another room to the right you see a room with many holes on the floor.
In chalk by the door is written an arrow pointing in, and in another hand righting next to it reads "Disarmed, safe"
In one of the rooms to the left you find a deep pit full with rusty spikes, some mangled bones and ripped clothing, with a spiral of round step platforms that get smaller as you would proceed across the room. In chalk by the door way a "X" is drawn.
In another room to the left is a small 15 foot room that seams normal looking.
In chalk by the door way is an arrow pointing in the room.
At the end of the hallway to the left there is a leaver on the wall.
In chalk next to it reads "Pull me" and an arrow facing down.

Izumi ponders a moment. "I don't like this...splitting the group, but if we must I'll take the left. Who'll go with Elrik, and who'll come with me? There will be a group of three and a group of two.
