At the appearance of someone behind him and out of nowhere, Matthias jumps a little, turning quickly around without making a sound much more then that of a light and manly gasp.
"Halt." he declares in a even tone, "Who are you and where did you come from?" He asks as his hand moves to his hip and the handle of his Sickles.
His eyes are squarely locked on the new man, and before he can get an answer from the stranger he gives a short call to his comrades. "Hay! Found someone!"

Out of Character:: Trying to move the body was my mistake I thought he died in the spike room.
In Character:: Elrik turns his head as he hears the faint voice (Krusten) after the scream. He does not give away that he hears to voice, but listens to make sure he is not hearing things.
Elrik looks around at his friends. "We are not alone. Can you hear that?" Elrik looks up to the figure calling out and walking thru the spear room. Trying to judge if she is friend or foe.
When he is sure that she can hear, "Welcome, to your test. You are not alone and if you are willing we can take this path together as friends." He retracks his chain as he turns to face the possible threat (Krusten).
In Character: When she gets close enough Krusten will subtly introduce herself to the rest and find out who they are and how they came to be there.
Out of Character: Because of the complexity of this place I think its wise if we stick as a group and not be running off to do our own thing. I do not mind taking point to spot check anything.
Dungeon Master: Any chance of a map to see where we are and the general direction we're heading?

The yellow star is where Krusten is entering from.
The green star is where Praos had been hiding and is entering game form.
The red arrow is here the dead body of your comrade is in a spike pit.
The grid of the map is shown in 5 foot squares.

The little blue things are the bracketed to the wall glowing blue crystals. Stones much like the one you found and have in your pocket, they don't give off much light, but placed near to each other they light the hallways well enough.
The brown lines in the room you just came from where the shattered remainder of old spears and splintered wood. The others whom came before you gathered the useful bits of the spears, well except for the broken wood shafted that would make about an hour to two worth in fire wood.
The black dots in the room you just came from I was trying to make represent the holes along the wall where the trap shoots the spears from.
The walls are all thick heavy gray stone the floor and ceiling in this area are also all lined with gray stone. You know you are deep underground from the slide down and the cold stone walls don't help.
The air is bitter and old from the lack of wind or good ventilation, but well withing breathing rang with out fear of running out. You imagine this place must be very large indeed, and likely wonder moreover who built it?
The big gray thing where the red arrow is is a room that has steeply angled sloped floor leading to a spiked pit in the center of the room.
Most of the party is in front of you where the hallways has the slit off in to the room where the dead body is. But, the other new payer and the offline player I am temporarily controlling are both near the entrance tot he large room around the corner.
The small alcove in the center of the hallway has mettle grates set in to the stone floor. The word "Bathroom?" is written in chalk on the wall near it.
After the hallways turns, it opens up into a oddly shaped large room. The back is a solid set of walls cutting a square space out of the layout f the room. That room also has supportive pillars in it, and less lighting.
On the wall just before that larger room is the words written in chalk reading "Safe, Disarmed".
The brown bar across the bottom of the room yet to be explored is a heavy door detailed to come after that rooms is entered and searched.
