" Why not ? I have already come this far, better go all the way. " Praos said to Matthias. And with that he followed him through the door and took a left turn on the corner. When he came to the hallway he could see one woman and two men. They seemed to be occupied with something else but he could not make out what. He cleared his throat a bit louder than usual, trying to announce his entrance and said " Hello there fellow contenders. Nice to meet you and sorry for intruding in such a way. My name is Praos and I am an acolyte of the chapel of Fusru ."
(Out of Character: Kitten, I thought Krusten was the green star not the yellow and vice versa for the other guy.)
Hearing Elriks suggestion about the belts and clothing, Izumi replies, "Yes, that could work. Let us try that."
As Izumi begins to unclasp her belt, the new woman walks in from the other room with her greeting. Izumis first reaction was of defense, gripping her sword hard at the ready. Upon hearing the womans query on being lost, she loosens her grip then sheathes her sword as she responds, "Lost? Oh yes, but we've been following signs left by others. Hopefully we can make ourselves 'found' once more."
Izumi looks over the woman, and notices her weapon and garb. Pointing to her sword, Izumi says, "I take it your God has chosen you as ours have each of us as well. Do ye wish join us in our attempt at their 'Trials'? We've lost a member to this trap in here, care to help us reclaim his body to honor him?"
Before she can hear a response, she hears Matthias shout about another soul cast to the 'Trial'. Izumi says to the group, "More and more of us keep getting dropped down here. Better chances for us all."
Out of Character: colors a side Krusten came from the spear trap room.
In game:
Matthias walks up with an other man (Praos) [following] him. When he sees the new woman (Krusten), he stops.
"You found some one too?" He asks the group, before introducing himself to the new woman.
"I am Matthias, you may call me Matt [for] short if you so wish. Welcome to the group."
Matthias looks at the 2 new people then asks, "Don't suppose ether of you have rope do you?"
In Character: Still on her guard Krusten introduces herself and the weird way in which she came to be there. She is asked questions but feels she has so many questions of her own. The sudden welcomes is more than she is used to. Normally she avoided contact but this situation is different, she felt she needed others this time, but only this time.
"I'm Krusten..." she said simply not wishing to make a big deal of her newness.
"Who is the leader here?" She asks wondering how organized this group was.
Out of Character: I feel we need to stick as a close knit group counting on each other's skills to pull through.
Izumi responds to Krusten, "I am Izumi. We haven't elected a leader. We've not really needed one since there were only four of us at the beginning. I suppose we should, now that we are seven. I do not know much of anyone else's life, but I've been in a fair amount of battles and have done some 'dungeon delving' before when I was younger. I also have a vested interest to get us through this and to freedom once more. If no one objects, I'll throw my name in for the head of this group."
Krusten, I am Elrik, I would say well met but in this situation I will say may the gods be with you.
Elrik looks over to the new entry, Praos, greetings and call us friends. Come help us pay respects to one that we have lost. We can make introduction and plans so that we may all survive this test after we have have at least removed his earthly shell from the spikes.
As Elrik works with the group to remove their friend. He talks to them. We are not a group, we have made if further than at least a dozen that I could count. Currently we have not had a leader, because our group was small and did not require that. But our numbers swell, the more people the more options. We will need someone that can cast the final vote and hopefully guide us from this dungeon. I do not care who you pick, but I will follow who you choose. I am guided by Er-u Tan and it would not be fair for me to guide you as I follow her winds and they may differ from yours.
