Praos felt sorry about Izumi's situation. Someone would be able to cope with himself being in danger, but when a loved person was in a dangerous situation he became the priority of your actions. Though he wanted to be of some help, he knew that in order to find someone in this place they needed a lot of luck.
He listened to what Krusten said and though he agreed to most of what she said he replied ." If this is indeed a trial presented to us by the gods, then getting out of here will not be that easy. Do not believe that most of the gods would throw some of their followers in this place just to check who is fit to survive and who is not ." He paused for a moment as if contemplating on something ." Unless ..." he continued " this is not set up by they god and they are simply trying to assist us ."
" If I knew what the goal behind all of this is, we would be in a better situation than we are right now. But we can only hope and try our best to see this to the end ." He replied to Krusten while waiting for someone else to take the initiative .
Krusten's natural instinct to mistrust sets in and her usual less than diplomatic tongue fires away.
"You seem to know more or are you just presumptuous? How do we know if you are not one of the beings behind this sent here to distract us?"
She looks over the plain looking man wondering what he is about.
Praos frowns a bit at what Krusten had to say. All this years he had been in the capital he came across a lot of mistrusting people. Unfortunately for him, this was neither the time nor the place to attempt to gain her trust ." I am sorry if I have offended you in some way, but I have no credentials for my person. Like everyone else I found myself here with no reason other than bad luck ." He paused a moment while fiddling with the symbol strapped on his belt, and continued ." I cannot be sure for anything in this place. I just like to think of it as wishful thinking. Cause if we are on our own the light of day is quite far away ."
"Hay hay miss calm down." Matthias retorts.
"We are all stuck here, and we can not afford to let the madness and panic of a place over take are minds, paranoia will simply lead to death in a place where the act of survival is an undertaking all its own."
Turning from Krusten where his words had been directed for the most part, and now facing Praos, he adds his agreement.
"You might be right the more time I spend down here the less it feels like a test of the gods and more a of a death trap. Perhaps the gods are trying to help us pass the test, not testing us themselves."
He takes a moment then in more of an after thought adds, "Hopefully as we proceed deeper, we will get more information and clues about this place, like the words we found carved in to the wall of the first room."
Krusten observes the man telling her to clam down,
"Calm down? I'm calm, but I don't pretend to assume anything unless I know the facts."
She then looks at the slippery trap... "So you all pretend to go down there?"
Out of Character: I'm trying to understand something here, which direction are we heading and with what purpose? Is everyone just hanging here? We've been in the same spot since I joined in.
Felipe says to Krusten, "No, we need to get past that trap over there, I will try to figure out how to get past it" Felipe goes near around the slippery area and he tries to find out how to get past it.
