Out Of Game:
Felipe, this is why you are getting a new marching order because there is one less player and two new players in the party. This new mix of players requires a new marching order.
As of right now, Matt has offered to walk in front if no one else wants to and Krusten has offered to be in front or back but not middle. Yes, we are still waiting for a response on a marching order from Izumi, Felipe (you), Elrik, and Praos.
In Game:
As Felipe grows tired of the endless walls of gray, he follows the others still wishing for a clear form of logic in this place where there is none.
Matt responds to him as he asks "A world?" Matt thinks for a moment.
"A world beneath a world." he adds in an inquisitive tone.
"Where have I herd that before?" he mumblers under his breath.
As the group walks Felipe tries to listen, his ears are keen and as you travel the many hours, there are times where you swear you hear something, a sound almost like whispering. Whenever you think you hear it, if you point it out to the others no one else hears it, and you for the moment think it stopped. Swearing it was there and you heard something.
Your distracted enough you don't spot anything other then what others point out they found as the group walks.
However, you manage to find something in your search down the endless halls. You discover a couple of loose bricks at one point near the fourth hour of walking. You have the group stop momentarily, when you discover the loose brick. They would of been easy to miss but you were lucky in finding them. You pull one of the loose bricks out of the wall and discover a small bag behind it, this drawstring bag is not too horribly big but is nice looking.
Out of game:
Krusten, the dagger was offered to you when you were working on the locks, if you want it, add it to your inventory. If not, then the person offering it would of kept it.
Before leaving the other room:
Izumi jumps up to grab at the string to pull it and whatever is attached to it down. What ever she finds she will examine it a little first before they move along.
(Out of Character: Jump 11+5=16)
As they go along their way Izumi will try to keep her eyes and ears sharp as they move along.(I guess Izumi will remain in the back of the line)
(Out of Character:
Hour one: Listen 6+3=9, Spot 7+3=10, Search 10+2=12
Hour two: Listen 19+3=22, Spot 3+3=6, Search 12+2=14
Hour three: Listen 8+3=11, Spot 20+3=23, Search 16+2=18
Hour four: Listen 15+3=18, Spot 9+3=12, Search 18+2=20)
Grabbing the string and pulling it out of the hole in the wall, there is attached to it, a small silver key. It's rather plain looking without many teeth on it, the kind of key you tend to think of as ornamental and not really functional. Why would someone hide a junk key, you wonder to yourself. If you keep it, add "Key of Simplicity" to your items.
Izumi in the first hour, finds and hears nothing but is mindfully on alert none the less. As hour two sets in she could share she can hear a baby crying but looking around at the others she gathers she's the only one to hear anything, until Felipe speaks up saying he hears whispering, At the moment when he said something you can no longer hear anything like whispering or even the sound of the baby crying that you could share you had heard.
Distracted in this second hour by the sound growing in your head, you fail to spot or find anything of interest to you.
As the third hour of walking sets in, you spot the same ash and drawing on the wall as Praos did. When he speaks up about it, you realize the drawing is of your tattoo and share it must of been left there by your son.
Hour four and you can still hear the sound of a baby crying. It's beginning to [great] on you and makes you long for home. Your eyes search the stone walls and floors, Filepe discovers something behind some loose bricks and the group stops. As he's fighting with the bricks, you see something out of the corner of your eye in the distance down the long and endless hallway. You did not see what it was, but you share that you saw something move and a flicker of light.
Izumi does pocket the key, knowing anything down here could be useful later.
As Felipe is wrestling with the bricks, Izumi asks quietly, "Any one else hear that crying?" Then she looks off to the distance and sees movement and light down the hallway. She then quickly taps Felipes' shoulder and points down the hallway for the others to look while whispering, "Hey, I just saw movement down there...and some kind of light."
Izumi waits a moment for people to look where she's pointing, then whispers, "Who wants to go check it out with me as Felipe works out the brickwork?" Izumi then waits for an answer as she readies herself for anything.
After hours or walking, this small break seems to be a blessing. The moisture on the walls remind him of the passages from the book. If the journal is correct, somewhere ahead of them should be water. But between them and the water there should be some spiders.
His train of thoughts is broken as he hears Izumi saying something about a crying child and movement. He turns to her as she makes a suggestion to investigate further in ." I do not think is it a good idea to be separated in here. The journal said something about spiders in the halls. I think it would be better to venture somewhere fully prepared ." And with that he tries to see anything in the distance.
Out of Character:: Tell me if I need any rolls
After seeing 'something' Krusten goes towards that place of movement to see what it is about.
Spot: 23
Listen: 20
Search: 19
Out of Character: Krusten didn't take the dagger, she is not interested in loading up, in fact anyone wants the map kit?
Out of game:
Yes rolls are needed.
Praos will need to roll for spot.
If you wish to roll for listen too, you may also do so.
Krusten your map making kit question is something better to ask in game.
In game:
Krusten begins to walk down the hall the way they where heading as the group is stopped momentarily, as she walks foreword she thinks she sees a split in the path at the farthest length of her view. However, you do not see any movement.
As you Listen you hear nothing at fist then focusing you think you here something but can't identify what it could be, its not the sound of crying or whispers, yet it is something you think you should know.
You think you spot the 1st split off from the path you have seen in hours only a mere 120 feet ahead.
Out of game:
How far foreword away from the group are you willing to walk?
