Out of Character: Love the map, thank you!
Felipe, probably you can use the character approval thread to sort out your character problems so it doesn't confuse the story.
In Character: Krusten goes towards the acid pit room and does a complete search.
Spot: 13
Search: 15
Listen: 14
Felipe add 12 to your Ma HP.
And, I rolled your fort for you and you passed.
Krusten I will have the results of your search posted later tonight. Something came up and I will be out of the house all day today dealing with it.
Sorry for the delay in game I will make some key posts tonight when I get home.
Edited: KittenPunk on 17th Feb, 2013 - 4:23pm
In Game: When Felipe opens the door, he will make a full search around the room and looking for things and at the same time he will listen for anything.
Search roll result: 29
Spot roll result: 19
Listen roll result: 11
Out Of Game: KittenPunk, is this correct to put something like this when you put the results here?
For Example: (Spot roll result 19) - 19 + 2 = 21?
Izumi tells her son, "Yes, besides Elrik here is Matthias, and Praos. The other woman is Krusten, and the other man is Felipe. Speaking of, let's go catch up with them."
In game:
Felipe approaches the door and opens it while saying, "hmm, I am sure that sound is in that room".
He quickly covers his nose and mouth with his hand as the scent of sulfuric acid is overwhelming. He manages to prevent himself from going sick from it, but of a moment has difficulty breathing before regaining his ability to move on.
The group talks as Krusten goes towards the acid pit room unearthed bag in hand still unopened, her intent is to begin to search and take a look around. However she (like all of the group) will have to make a Fortitude save upon passing in to this room, before they can take other actions such as a good look around.
Recovering from the smell and the way the air of this room burns on the lunges as you breathe Felipe moves in to the room to begin his search. Because of how the room is laid out his search is restricted to the platform on the entrance side of the 2 large aside pits. The 2 large pits are divided by a wall down the center of the room, with thin 5 foot walk ways on the outside walls. He starts his search of this 1st half of the room but finds nothing. The acidic room is lit from overhead, this time not by crystals but some odd glowing orbs hung from the high ceiling over the acid pits.
Sulfur and acid in the air of the blood seal room only moments after Felipe opened the door between the rooms in the dark hallway.
Matt moves across the seal without a word passing by it seemingly unharmed he shrugs and says. "I think the thing is there is no other path we can take we have to just hope who ever this is alerting, is something we can deal with later." Haru nods and passes in to the room in time to see Krusten heading in to the dark hallway holding his bag. "My bag!" he cries out pointing with one hand. Matt moves past Praos in a normal walk heading for the steps down to the lower platform and on toward the dark steps and hallway to the next room. Haru turns to his mother and repeats. "She's got my bag!"
Out of game:
Felipe add 12 to your Max Hit points mean you should have 22 now, not replace the 10 with a 12.
"Is this correct?"
Answer nope.
But, that is okay we are working on it. I know you are new to this.
Example: Max the fighter wants to search a room to do this he needs to declare his action "I go to the next room and begin to search it." Then the player whom is controlling this character rolls a dice. This dice is 20 sided. The roll of this dice landed with the number 12, the player now adds his ranks in the search skill to his roll, max has a rank of 2 in his search skill. 12+2= 14.
Max's search result is 14.
This means the lowest a player can ever roll for a skill is 1+ there rank in it, and the highest a player can ever roll for the same skill is 20+ there rank in it. Easy task only require your result to add up to 10+ mid skilled tasks require it to add up to 15+. Hard skills require it to add up to 20+ some much more epic and extremely hard skills require some times 25, 30, 35+ but because someone can only gain the possibility of their roll and ranks, this represents tasks in the word even infer your best attempts you could not possibly archive. It is like asking a cook who is good with a knife to do brain surgery only based of his skill of cutting meat. It's not going to work.
I know you do not own dice so you have been using an online dice roller to do so; this site offers one, I recommend you play around with it till you learn how it works.
Note:
We may have a new player joining us soon.
And, I am sorry I was busy the last 2 days, but I have everything taken care of now, and am back to my timely responses.
