Elrik looks at the boys boots. "Let me see if I can fix that."

Elrik walks over and presses his hands against his boots and cast mend.

Elrik lookup and the growing group. Hopefully there is strength in numbers he thinks to himself. That and it is possible that the outside world is going mad arresting so many people and throwing them to the test. He has to wonder why and how the test was created. And why would the gods agree to such a evil thing.

Elrik looks about and drinks in the new group members.

Praos did not say anything to Alexander. He was lost in thought while reading the book, and he seemed as if he was walking by instict and following the rest of the group. He closed the book and placed it into his bag. He turned to Izumi " Think it would be better to reach that body pile he talked about and then wait to regroup. I would not like facing anything while scattered ."

Matt speaking with Alexander as he finishes getting cleaned up before they head back to the group.
"They let you do that?" He seems very surprised by the mans statement, and a bit deep in thought for a moment after.

"As a baby I was marked by a goddess, but my entire life I have prayed to another god, to the god of the family that razed me not the goddess who's mark I bare. My entire life till now this has bean fine and the god I preyed to seemed to favor me. When I was cast into here, from the gifts the gods/goddess's gave us I was given one from each. But, for the length that I have been down here every time I have prayed to my preferred god I feel pain a if I am being punished for my blaspheming thoughts. I fear she is finally come to claim me. For her mark has began to burn on my flesh... The others do not know I do not really want to worry them." He stops but it looks like he may be thinking of more, but is resisting the thought of sharing in fear of ether disturbing or worrying you.

You might notice that his cloak bares the symbol of Er-U-Tan.

Notes:
Matt is a half elf, but looks as if he may be half dark elf, he has silvery hair and lavender eyes but dark tan skin.
Date: April 28 year 199 time mid-day, people are craving food for lunch time.

Haru thanks the man for yet another spell of aid.
Minding works to fix objects as he secant boot is missing your spell fix's the large hole in his sock but he still is missing a boot.

Alexander gasps in startlement, staring at Matt as water drips from his soaking hair. "The mark of an Evil Goddess? That can't be good..." Alexander crosses his arms across his chest, thinking.

"Hey, I have an idea." Alexander holds up the pendant, trying his best to keep his mind blank. "Hold this, and pray to your patron God. I assume that would be Er-U-Tan."

He hands the medallion to Matthias.

Out of Game: If the medallion changes before it is in Matt's hand, Alexander will drop it so it will revert to its blank state.

Game Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons

Matthias takes the object saying. "You just spin it and think of your god?"

Flicking at the disk with his finger to make it spin, it spins faster and faster.
As it settles the symbol of a spider (Meera) hangs from the chain. Matt stumbles back for a moment grabbing his shoulder and biting his lip in pain. It takes all of his effort not to drop the item in his hand.
He falls to his knees and in a low mumbling voice fighting threw the pain starts singing under his breath.

"Meera, Meera on the wall, tiny spider where you crawl. All the secrets you will keep, all the knowledge in the deep. Forests tall and web so wide, guard the dreamer where you hide."
As he finishes you can see his body physically relax as the pain subsides.

Out of game:
Set to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."

Alexander smacks the pendant from Matt's hand just a moment too late.

He stares at the panting and shaking Elf in bewilderment for a moment, then uses the piece of chalk to copy Matt's words on the floor.

"Meera..." He shakes his head, "This is...stunning, to say the least." Alexander casts about for something smaller to write the words down on. A piece of parchment, or a large rock even, as long as it's small enough to carry. "Meera's sway on you is subtle, but deep, and I fear it will be no easy task to turn her gaze from you..." He claps Matt on the shoulder, "Fear not, friend. Evil can never overcome Good so long as you maintain trust in YOURSELF. If your God will not answer, then you'll just have to stand up strong and overcome all on your own. "

Alexander glances around warily, "Still, there is a chill on my heart...let us return to our companions. I shall say nothing of this if you ask it of me."

Izumi nods to Praos's suggestion in agreement. She adds, "We also might be able to find something of use in with the bones and rubble."
With that, she tells the rest of the group the plan of stopping at the piles to break a bit and wait for the others.

The group progresses heading down the steep steps in to the darkness.

Back in the make shift camp...
Matt struggles to stand but after a moment he forces a strong and calm face back over himself. One hand still on the wall to aid with balance, he picks up the spears he dropped and leaves the disk and chain where it lays, for the owner to pick it up.

"You don't have to wright it down, I know well who is watching me. She may have sway but I have no desire to follow her."

He rubs his shoulder where the mark is hidden under his clothing. "I don't want to worry the others. But I have thought more then once about talking to the cleric, after all he follows Er-U-Tan as I would. For now though I too think we should go rejoin the others. But let us walk slowly, my balance is yet to return and I rather not go for a swim in the acid pits."
His half hearten attempt to make a joke and force a smile is apparent.

The boys can continue to talk as they walk slowly to meat back up with the others many rooms ahead of them.
