Alexander falls silent, covering his mouth and nose with a still damp sleeve as they hug the wall in the acid room.

Haru answers Felipe. "Some the size of a large dog, others a horse maybe bigger, and I would not be shocked if there where even bigger ones, as at one point the vibrations on the webs nearly knocked me over and I could herd something screeching in the distance." He then looks over at Praos, "Water? Now that you speak of it, I think I could hear water but I never saw any."

Praos can her the light scatting of spiders but the then that the area is silent.
As he searches some of the webs he can tell they are to strong to of been left by normal spiders. He shares his finding with the group, suggesting that the little spiders they are seeing are the baby's of whatever bigger ones lurk here.

Izumi nods to Praos, and replies, "Yes, we stop and break for a bit of rest while the other two catch up to us."

Izumi finds a clear spot to sit down and does so. She taps Whisp and whispers to him, "Do you get hungry? There are many little spiders around if you have the stomach for them."

She then opens her bags to take inventory of all she's collected and hasn't had the chance to inspect them closer.
She finds in her two pouch bags three bandages, an earring, a key, a glass bead necklace, and two pieces of chalk. She rummages into a small bag with a full Waterskin, a days ration, a small box, and three wood bowls. She takes a bite of some of the bread and tires to chew and swallow the staleness down. She then takes a swig from the water skin to help the bread along its way. She then looks over another small bag, this one with various bones and 10 spearheads. She feels for her Spell Component Pouch only to check that it is still with her.

She returns a second look into the bag with the box, and realizes she had not noted its presence before. She pulls it out to inspect it further.

(Out of Character: She will look the box over from the outside, then she will open it to see if anything is inside.)

Whisp gives a yawning hiss, flicking the air with it's tongue. "Hungry? No, not really, but spiders? Hummm crunchy bits do sound nice but, I would prefer a rat or a mouse if you have one." The snake slithers down from around your neck and coils on your lap next to where you are sorting your items. It watches you take an account of your possessions.

As you go over the items you wonder if you will ever get the chance to bring the mementos of the dead you have found back to identify them to the familys of the city far over head.
As you look over the key you examine it to determine if it has magic about it, and indeed you can feel something in it but not what is does.

The bread is hard to chew but it's nutrition remains worth the effort.
The water skins clean water while no longer magical, is still refreshing.
Your Spell Component Pouch contains a wide selection of the things you would of normally packed in it, but you still find it odd that so much appeared out of thin air on all of you after the guards did such "Good jobs" searching you all, and confiscating your items.

The small, plain, and rather ordinary looking box bares no markings on the outside. It also has no lock or keyhole, and the hinges seem to be set in to the wood so they can't be seen from the outside. When you open it, it is lined with gray velvet on the bottom and has a passage in runes burned into the wood on the under side of the lid. Nothing is inside the box.

Seeing the runes on the inside of the lid, Izumi reads it to herself. She wonders what a box could ever do for her down here besides hold items. Small items at that.

Having been trained in magic, like any one whom can cast spell, you are able to read the runes easily.
The runes inside the lid say. "Box of exchange. Trade Me."

Izumi reads the inscription with a slightly puzzled look. She thinks to herself, 'Trade me? Box of Exchange.' She looks all over the box again, trying to be more thorough as if she'd missed something. She knows there's something about it so she doesn't check if it has a magic to it. She knows it has to.

She shrugs, pulls out another bite of bread and puts it in the box, and closes it. She suddenly feels silly for obeying the boxs' silly demand. She opens it to take out the piece of bread.
